Brady and Belichek are equal parts. Belichek's a genius when it comes to assembling a roster, but it sure as shit helps knowing exactly what he's getting from his quarterback. There are better quarterbacks at throwing the ball, there are quarterbacks that are asked to do more to win games, but none of them are as good as Tom Brady at winning football games. He's put in a position to be successful, just like everybody is under BB, but he's a huge part of that success and the idea that you can just plug someone else in and get the same results means you think you're smarter than Belichek because he's done that at every other position.

Cold hard stats are just numbers on paper. You obviously sit too long in front of a computer and not interacting enough with other human beings.
Stats can be skewed if you are someone who beats up on bad competition but regress vs great competition.

His competitive nature is why they converted 3 3rd and 10s in OT and why they have never lost an OT game when he gets the ball first and why he is 2nd in NFL history in 4th quarter comebacks... I guess that is all just big coincidence. You can point out plays here and there, but the entire sample doesn't lie.

Tom Brady could go 7/7 with 690 yards and 7 TD's to start the Superbowl on Sunday, and still have a worse playoff passer rating than Mark "Butt Fumble" Sanchez.

When Brady throws more INTs than TDs in the playoffs..
    Brady - 5-4

Rest of the NFL - 19-150

    Brady's Luck.
Brady is a product of the system. It doesnt take the greatest QB of all time to make the throws that hes making. He is for sure a smart QB, he takes what the D gives him. But in no way does it take a great QB to make those throws. It shows the greatness of BB and that's fine, but don't give Brady GOAT status when he isnt even the best QB in his era.

Tom Brady in the 4th/OT during that game vs KC (with a negated INT): 67.3 Passer Rating .......JaMarcus Russell career: 65.2 Passer Rating
    Just something to think about.

Stats don't lie. You can call me a hater but that doesn't change the fact that I'm right.

The entire sample isnt lying. It is showing you the facts.
When Brady throws more INTs than TDs in the playoffs since 1950
    Brady - 5-4

Rest of the NFL - 19-150

    Brady's Luck.

    that enough of a sample?

Im not, but Tom Brady's stats are. Tough scene.

For real obviously Brady is better, but just something to think about when you talk about the "greatest of all time" and "5 rings"

Statistically you're more likely to be struck by lightning twice than be killed by a shark, and yet TB12 still has 5 rings. You can't explain that, stay salty hombre.

Brady won rings of lucky plays, like the Malcolm Butler interception and a dropped catch in like 04 I believe

Well obviously this thread will go on for days and days arguing back and forth. There's a reason why basically every former player, analyst, coach etc. call Brady the GOAT Lyons. Stat lines arent everything and it clearly shows from the 2 decades of success, 2951594 AFC Championship wins and the 5 rings (soon to be 6 I hope). Brady could have an absolute dog shit of a game for 3 3/4's of said game and still drive them down the field in the final seconds and walk away with the W and hes done that an absurd amount of times. That's what makes Brady Brady.

No QB has had the luck, coach, or D that Brady has had. Belichick is great, Tom is smart, but no means the greatest.

No QBs in NFL history would even be in said game if they played like "complete dog shit for 3 3/4's of said game"

You just made my point for me.
