yeah I do think its shady to be the only one not releasing a demo a month before the game comes out (at the very least) but regardless I am still excited for the release of the game.
Yeah no demo before the release date doesnt give you warm fuzzys. There's probably some research out there that showed first day sales are down when the demo is released before the game. And with a game like MLB 2k8 they dont need to get the word out it probably more about increasing sales. That are with a complete revamp one years is not enough and it sucks
Anybody seen any early reviews floating out there? I'm guessing a demo will be out tommrow or Tuesday but it still doen's make me feel that great about the game. I'll also be buying the Show, so pretty much only reason for 2k8 is the league. BTW, maybe I'm just way out of the loop this year but since when does 2k8 have playable minor league teams. That's pretty cool. Was just browsing on GameSpot and one of the first images is of a Indianapolis Indians player.

For example EbGames says it comes out today 3/4 but thats a ship date. So normally that's the date EbGames ship it out to their stores. So almost all the stores won't have it till tommrow but a few, depending on how close the are to the shipment center.
well, it doesn't make sense to get the demo for me at this point. I will buy it anyway tomorrow. Unless of course I find a spot selling it today.
Nice to see there is still no demo as of tonight. Thank god I'm getting it free, otherwise I'd have to be trying to find some place to rent it before I spent $60 on it.
It really is a joke that 2k doesn't send their demos to MS in a timely manner. They know how long it takes. They've been sending demos to MS for years. Unexcusable.
Unbelievable. It is true though, I knew the demo wouldn't be out in time. It's the only baseball game out on the 360, they want people to buy it no matter what.
Well I was looking to do in store pickup with BB(have a gift card to burn) but they, and no one else it seems, actually has the game in yet. I read over on the 2ksports forums that a lot of people went out at midnight to grab a copy and Wal-Marts everywhere did not have them. Honestly I might get it, if I can today, and not open it to see the reviews. That way I'll have it without having to wait (I'm assuming its going to be tough to find around here for a few days) or be screwed over if the game sucks. Army of Two is looking awfully good right now.
none of the eb games in my area, has a copy of the game yet. They all say they have the show, but no mlb2k8. And I still cant find a damn review..
Well two of the Best Buys (out of around 7 in the area) have it in for in-store pickup. I should have mine tonight.
