    It is all based on a couple of factors:

    1. the skill of your player
    2. the height of the ball passed to you
    3. your positioning in relation to the ball and the goal
    4. your timing of hitting the shot button

    A special movle like this has to have all of these factors to happen at the right time in order for the animation to take over.

    I had this awesome diving header in an online game that just went wide that I wish I couldhave saved online.

    Clarifying, it went upper corner off the post and rippled the back of the ONION BAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Yea, I had an awesome Diving Header from Thierry Henry, on a Cross from Ribeiry... didn't know about this then, or I likely would have saved it.
