    *Note* Probably won't be getting to the western conference before week 3 starts, but I'll look at their first 3 weeks and do a write up like this. May take a look at both conferences in week 5/6/7 again... We'll see lol. Enjoy!

    :team21:TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING 14-3-1:team21:
    What a week! Tampa goes a perfect 9-0 and are riding a 10 game win streak. They do this without the help of @Hxndry as well. Through 2 weeks, the Lightning sit 2nd in GF and are tied with the Devils for 1st in GA. The hottest team also sits just 2 points back of a tie for top spot with the Devils. @Zilla7861 picks up another 12 point week, bringing his total to 24 points (16G 8A), and @Whiisky x did his line mate 1 point better with 13 this week (8G 5A). On the back end, @I_Smash_Fatties showed off his playmaking abilities with a strong 6 assist week. @Tendy has been lights out holding an 8-1 record, as well as the highest SV% in the league (.857). A dominant performance from this team, and I don’t think they are going to slow down any time soon.

    Who’s Hot: Tough to pick out one or two players. The whole team is on fire.

    Who’s Not: Nadda.

    :team10:DETROIT RED WINGS 13-4-1:team10:

    The Red Wings followed up a 7-2 start to the season with a 6-2-1 performance. They sit 7th in GF and tied for 3rd in GA. So far, Detroit is holding a fantastic 90% on the PK, 2nd to Chicago at 95.2%. Defense has been a huge factor and having one of the hottest goalie tandems right now with @Lundieeee and @drally20 helps a tonne too (.831 and .829 SV%). This team is looking strong through all 3 lines with how balanced the scoring is in their lineup; makes it a difficult matchup regardless of what line is playing. It’ll be interesting to see how Detroit does throughout the season for sure.

    Who’s Hot: @HNZ Prince (3-3) (9G 7A) – The rookie put up a very good 12 point week and went 2-1.

    Who’s Not: Can’t say anyone is really struggling so far. Keep buzzing.

    :team5:MONTREAL CANADIENS 10-7-1:team5:
    Montreal started week so well with some seriously impressive wins. They won 4 straight, 3 by way of shutout (9-0, 7-3, 3-0, 1-0). However, things took a turn for the worst at the end, as the Habs finished the week going just 1-4. Not sure what happened, and I wonder if team inconsistency might come into play as the season moves forward. While the Habs are scoring a fair bit (10th with 56 GF), they are also giving up a few too many as well (14th with 49 GA). Lets see if this team can start strong and finish strong over the next couple weeks.

    Who’s Hot: @Ethan x 97 (3-2-1) (5G 8A) – Strong 2-1 performance by him
    @stammerchel (4-1-1) (1G 8A) - The dman flexed his offensive muscles with 1G 6A this week, 5 points in a 9-0 rout
    @l Gentry l (4-2-0) (8G 1A) – Pure sniper right now, love to see it.

    Who’s Not: @PBanc , @Zarvek , @l3l Ray l8l (3-3) – Money makers and Owner have gotta start performing a bit better soon.

    :team20:OTTAWA SENATORS 10-7-1:team20:

    Ottawa’s red hot 7-2 start quickly ended in week 2. They end up going 3-5-1 in week 2, and struggled to muster up more than 2 goals each game. They’ve seen the most one goal games (13) and have gone 7-5-1. Offense has been an issue early on, as they rank 27th with just 41 GF. The Sens do rank 5th in GA with 38. The Sens have seen some rock solid goaltending as both tendies are well above .800 SV%. Maybe the bounces will start going their way soon and will soon be increasing that goal differential soon.

    Who’s Hot: @Philz 14 (2-2-2) (11G 4A) – Brought some much needed goal scoring with 8 this week. Ottawa as a team had only 19.

    Who’s Not: @Henreek (1-4-1) (6G 8A) – The struggle bus continues for him in the win column, though he did pick up his first win of the season this week.

    :team18:BUFFALO SABRES 8-7-3:team18:

    Buffalo is a very interesting team. They have the most high octane offensive lines in the league @Regs84 , @cj142 , and @Chriz . Then they also have one of the worst lines in the league too. The Sabres have scored a bunch ( 9th with 57 GF), and have let up a bunch (18th with 51 GA). Goaltending has struggled a bit with @Perkis System18 going just 1-5-2 and .755 SV% so far. Hopefully the bottom line can start to get some chemistry (and favourable matchups), because it hasn’t been a pretty start to the season for those guys.

    Who’s Hot: 6-0 line. @Regs84 leads league with 29 points (12G 17A), 7G 10A in week 2.

    Who’s Not: Winless line (0-4-2) – Need to start performing if they want to make the playoffs

    :team1:TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS 7-6-5:team1:

    Tough week for the Leafs as they went 3-3-3 in week 2. They sit tied for 27th in GA with 64, and 17th in GF with 51. Defense doesn’t seem like their motto and it shows in their goalies’ numbers. Both @Kernsy (4-4-3) (.741 SV% 3.2 GAA)and @Dangs92 (3-2-2-) (.719 SV% 3.58 GAA)are being hung out to dry right now. It looks kinda ugly right now as management is struggling can’t seem to pull their weight either. Luckily the OTLs are keeping them afloat right now, but the Leafs will need to pick up the pace quickly.

    Who’s Hot: @Rockxt 5 (5-0-1) (16G 7A) – Dominant week from him as he netted 10G and 15 points in a 3-0 week.
    @Sbass19 (4-2-0) (9G 10A) – Also notched 15 points with his line mate above this week (8G 7A).

    Who’s Not: @PureRippin (2-1-3)(7G 4A) and @SoY LoS 19 (1-2-3)(4G 6A) – Need to start earning that free contract at some point, no?

    :team23:FLORIDA PANTHERS 7-9-2:team23:

    Oh Boy. Some big time players as management and having real tough start to their season. Changes are certainly coming for these 20+ win studs leading the team, but as of now, offense is completely dry in Florida. The only team worse offensively is LA, by 1 goal. A 4-way tie for the team lead in score with… 10 points? This team is due for a breakout week soon, I doubt anyone believes this team is nearly as bad as it looks statistically.

    Who’s Hot: Can’t say anyone is particularly “hot”, but @oHeroism is 5-1 with 4G 6A.

    Who’s Not: @I Parksy x I76I (1-5-0) (1G 3A) – 4 points through 6 games for a guy who just came off a career high 70 points last season.

    :team2:BOSTON BRUINS 6-8-4:team2:

    Boston looks to be in a similar scenario as Toronto; they can score decently well (12th with 54 GF), but can’t defend (24th with 63 GA). Week 1 they went 3-5-1, week 2 they go 3-3-3. No real improvement aside from 2 more games where one bounce could win it in OT. @Kxv 97 (3-1-2) has done well leading the offensive charge with 8G 11A. I worry a little with Boston because there doesn’t seem to be enough talent to start rattling off 6-7 win weeks here. Only time will tell really.

    Who’s Hot: @TeachMe18 (4-0-2)(4G 6A) – Scoring at a decent rate, but is getting it done where it matters as the only player on the team yet to lose in regulation.

    Who’s Not: @TouchMee1069 (0-2-0)(0G 0A)Hopefully the owner will be there for his games next week to help get his team back on track before its too late.
