Banned for calling out racism from Detroit Management

I was just banned from my NHL - AHL discord for calling out a racist on the discord. He was making anti-Semite comments towards a goalie on the team.

This is unacceptable and I would like an explanation from a mod as to why this is allowed to happen.

This is my second season of LG, I am forced to join this discord due to being assigned a team.

 

The mods are not in your Discord. Just because some random person does it doesn’t mean the mods (AKA the BOGs, allow it).

If you’ve seen racism and have proof of racism, you can create an Action Center request here: https://www.leaguegaming.com/forums...ue&page=action_centre&leagueid=69&seasonid=11

Be sure to include the proof via screenshots/video or the case may be dismissed with no action taken. An Action Center request is a submission to the BOGs and it’s also what you use to get people punished. Use the correct section of the Action Center. So if you want to report racism, you’d pick Complaint —> Code of Conduct. Be sure to select the correct league of the person you are reporting (PS4 and NHL, AHL, or CHL).

Just hit the BOGs buttom at the bottom for whichever league the offender(s) were in (NHL, AHL, CHL). Note that if you don’t have any proof, it’s not guaranteed that a punishment will come out of it.

So, youre saying that if someone brings attention to racism on the site, they get penalized?

 

I'm saying that just like in the real world snitches struggle to move up. Being the whistleblower very rarely leads to positive things for you as an individual.

 

Shouldnt we commend someone for calling out someone who is a racist? Maybe he shouldnt have done it so publicly, but none the less, commended?

 

I would like you to bring up one real life example of the whistleblowers standing being elevated in real life.

Remember when Jonathan Martin called out Richie Incognito for racism and bullying in the NFL? Martin didnt get another real shot with a team. Incognito is still playing.

I can tell you that @Xx LoL xX 9 does not support any of that stuff. I have known this guy since NHL 13 days and I never heard him ever support that stuff.

I've known LoL for 5 seasons now. He's the most humble dude I've met on this site and he has never supported anything as vulgar like this. He is in no way shape or form a racist or does he support racist behavior. He has a great reputation and has many people to stand by this.

 

This is not surprising from hockey ppl lmao. Not saying all hockey people are racist at all and I like the sport, but what is expected to happen by fans in the least racially diverse sport on planet earth lol. Certain White ppl always do shit like this cause they feel powerful behind the internet I guess and cant get away with it in real life anymore.
