Sup idiots. The title is explanatory but far too often I find members of this community be lacking in regards to their intelligence.

The proposal: BAN a large majority of the overly used xfactors to promote parody in this simulation league.

Xfactors which would be considered would not be limited too but all have a considerable argument to be heard.

Elite Edges: literally every fucking players uses it. I am getting bored of being forced to use this trait as it is nothing more than a filler to be able to equally compete with everyone else.

Onetimer: There is no AHL player in real life who can shoot one timers even close to the consistency that Alex Ovechkin or Steven Stamkos have shown therefore it should not be allowed. Way too many broken shots and abuse of this trait.

Close Quarters: Makes every shot taken from the upper circle and in 100 MPH. The puck literally bounces off a G’s chest over his head and in due to this trait so another garbage one.

Truculence: I can run 6’1 160 Puck moving Dman while also running over players with the strength of Dustin Byfuglien. Promotes too much defense and running for hits in unrealistic scenarios.

Stick em up: EVERY DMAN USES THE POKE CHECK TRAIT I WANT MORE PARODY FOR FUCK SAKE

This is nothing more than a sample size and ideally LG could influence Ea into having a club challenge mode without X factors or a number of strategies which Tris who gets paid to do this would have more time than I would to take charge.

Why ban Elite Edges that’s the only one I don’t understand. Makes the game feel so much more smooth and enjoyable

If everyone has it banned than there is no need. The reason it feels sluggish is because everyone else using elite edges to not be slow. Therefore if no one has it than everyone is on equal playing field

Not a bad take. The only issues I have with this post is you’re using “parody” instead of “parity”. And you can argue that everyone using similar traits IS “parity”.
Parity is the state or condition of being equal.

Maybe you’re saying you want more “variation”?

Removing Edges makes your player skate terribly. Most people would say that even the average CHLer, in real life, is still a great skater.

I do agree with you on the rest of the traits though. Nice post.

 

I am not sure that not having Elite Edges make you skate terribly though... If you see a sniper on the wing with gold 1T, they do not have EE and they can still do some crazy stuff. I think EE is used mostly because the sniper traits are not as good this year, except for probably close quarters. 1T has definitely taken a step back.

Correct me if I am wrong as well, but PMD is faster than a sniper is too?

I don’t know if PMD is faster apart from the difference between Gold Edges vs Silver. Most Sniper builds we see tend to have Silver Edges as well.

That is hard to do on Sniper... hence why he was saying that people use silver EE, but I do not remember a single time I have seen it. I have seen PMD with gold EE or nothing

 

Ban truc,unstoppable force and shutdown and you have a better balance

 

3rd Line Dman with Silver EE here. I am just different.
