Ok starting to figure out how this league is going to work, I need your imput to help me with that. Please understand that due to the nature of the game, we will all have to meet at the same times in order to play matches. So if for some chance, your day isn't picked, we'll see what we can do. I don't want to have matches on Friday or Saturday unless there is huge demand for it. The earliest the matches can take place is 9 EST due to those on the west coast getting off work at 5 possibly getting home by 6 to be able to play, I'm thinkin the matches will happen at like 10 EST just to be safe.
I'm voting thursday so it can be a happy friday when i whup you guys. 1 - Thursday 2 - Sunday 3 - Monday 4 - Tuesday 5 - Wednesday
1. Wednesday - primetime TV wasteland. Perfect for gaming 2. Tuesday -"24" can be recorded. Game on. ------------ Monday - MNF in HDTV this year. Thursday - wife owns the HDTV that night... must see TV and all. Sunday - I do some PC racing Sun. nights, usually finished by 11pm central though.
i think most of the younger people like myself are going to want to play on weekends. I myself will be working from 6-9pm (arizona time, we dont do daylight savings so it switches from 2 to 3 hours behind est) every weeknight, and have the choice of working from 9am-1pm on saturdays. Plus with hockey and all the other extracurricular activites (read: more hockey), the weekends would be the best.
I agree with Indigo on this one...Ill most likely be busy all weekdays with work, school and hockey..so sunday would work the best for me
I'd like to reopen this topic to get everyone to chime in their preference for days for the tournaments to be played. I figure that most will be available to play on weekends, that makes the most sense. But if you guys want to play during the week, we can do that too. Also let me know if you have a time of day preference. I'm changing my votes to: 1- Sunday 2- Saturday 3- Tuesday 4- Friday All other days I have class until 9:00 pm EST, earliest I could make a match would be 9:30 pm EST.
Sat & Sun are good for me.. I'm not in the XRT leagus at the moment. Monday night is Sims league for me. Wednesday is no good.. The 1 show I want to watch is on that night. 1. Sat 2. Sun 3. Tue 4. Thu 5. Fri
