Bidding - Should the team who did a "snipe" bid be revealed in the chatpost

I'd like to preface this by saying I know it' not going to happen.

We should just do a full NHL/AHL organizational draft. Each round will have a set salary. The best players will go early as they should followed by mid level talent and into the lower tiered talent. League can have 3 rounds each day until both NHL/AHL rosters are filled. This way when a mid or lower tiered owner selects a top end player, that owner can then ask that player to help shape the team. I'm sure that's a better situation for the top end guy then going to a bad owner with a team full of unknowns. Also every AHL pick shpuld be 1 mil or 500k. This way regardless of your skill you won't be stuck in AHL because of your salary. The best players will rise as they do in all professional sports.

 

@Tris10 i think at the end of bidding snipes should be revealed. Not during the process of it due to what @Kbsmith37 said. Maybe instill the media team to write it up as something funny. @CACATINO could write up something nice I'm sure. Or if you want a book written about it than id suggest @SweeT 9 LoU 84

Would be cool if you could click on an individual player after their bids been won, and have it bring up a list of which teams placed which bids

 

Keep it private but limit each team to a certain amount of snipe bids

That would force teams not to wait til last minute if they want someone

what if 2 teams tryna bid on one guy late in bidding, then the teams can look to see who has more cap room

 

No. Bidding should remain blind so players or management cannot manipulate which team wins the rights to players.
