Chatbox?

Umm, wondering if anyone else is having trouble with the Chatbox today? When I logged on, it says on top "Adblock detected from a non premium member. The shoutbox has been disabled." Then, under it, it has a Ron Burgundy Pic that says "You're a Dirty Pirate Hooker" accompanied with a Rick Roll video :| WTF? lol

 

Turn off AdBlock.

 

I've had Adblock for over 3 years... and it never had any problems like this with the LG Chatbox... why now?

 

Tris should get put on the naughty list for trolling us with the adblock thing. I too got trolled by it on my firefox now I have to use safari #FirstWorldProbs

 

He's trying to cut down on the people who live on it.

 

The line is actually "you are a smelly pirate hooker"..

Or you could disable it just for LG.. just saying

 

Because Tris changed something.

 

Having AdBlock on hurts sites that rely on Ads for revenue, hence why Tris wants you to turn it off.

After you download and install, click the little Red stop sign when you're on the page and select "Don't run on pages on this domain". Then a box will pop up, press Exclude Domain and you're done. Then a green Thumbs Up will appear anytime you're on LG. /done.

 

The site is trying to get as much money as they can.

 

And getting people to pay 40$ a year for a stupid font, writting & name changes ain't helping them already?

tris wants his dirty whore money from Ads.

 

The VHL actually begged for donations from the start and at times. Then stole the money for personal use and spent little on real upgrades or hours of work. Tris has spent years (11yrs so far) of unrewarded time. I'm not sure if many realize how much it would cost to pay Tris fair value for what he's invested his time in here all the while not asking for money. No one is being asked to click the adds (although that helps more), just leave ad block off, your traffic on the site alone helps.
