Ok was playing this guy named Fatboyslim and I tried just about everything and had no luck against the BS this guy was doing.

He would move the Right DE far right and then his DT he would line up in the center. When I would snap the ball my linemen would go after the DE and then he would run straight at me for an easy sack. I tried quick passes, PA, shotgun, running the football, and none of it mattered because he was in for a sack every single time. Was curious what you guys thought of this or if you had any idea on how to stop this lame crap if I ever come across it again.

I played this same guy on 2K4, I remember the fatboyslim. He was even signing that one "Check It Out Now" song the whole game. For me though he would blitz both cornerbacks, but he would line both of them up, one just on the line of scrimmage, and one just over the line of scrimmage by about a yard right in front of the other guy, and they would never call anything. The O-Line would then always go out for these 2 and leave a DE wide open to the easy sack.

I find my DE doing this as well sometimes with my blitz packages, it's not intentional, but sometiems the tackle just doesn't even block Udeze and hes right in for the sack.

Well this guy was doing it over and over and over so I'm pretty sure it was intentional... :p

Knowing your pass-happy style of offense, I bet you didn't try draw or dive plays up the middle getting 5-8yds a clip. If someone is spreading their DE's outside of the tackles, you should have gigantic holes to run through on either side of the guards.

You guys arent understanding... he pulled 1 de way out to the right so that 2 of my OL players would go after him and then he would run in with the DT untouched.... btw i always run draw plays...they work well with an offense that likes to pass

Are you out of your mind? Run a shovel pass? If I wanted to fumble and let him have it I could just press L and R trigger together.

For someone as old and "wise" as you I'm pretty sure you know that there are ways to abuse the AI in all video games.... NCAA/Madden included.

I see a lot of crying in the eapn forums about getting sacked. I dunno
Ive played 20 some games and I rarely get sacked so Im either not playing the right dipsticks or something .

Are you running back 7 yards and waiting for a reciever to get 40 yards downfiled for the bomb/lob? That could be the problem. :)

People did that last year too. The offensive line would get tore up every play. You'd be lucky to complete the 3-5 step drop and throw.

Consider yourself lucky I guess. But account do try and play this duche bag and see if you can come up with anything. He is horrible on offense so if you figure out a way to beat his glitch then enlighten us all.

I have noticed when playing the computer, if I run the bear defense and do the mix for the line and do Bear Man 1 with the one LB blitzing on the outside, every once in a while, pending the Offense's call, I usually get a sack a lot of the time by just running the DT right by the center.
