Been meaning to make this thread for at least a week, so here we are. We all know this game sucks again, so if there was no ban for quitting, would you quit right now? I understand they needed a reason to ruin the game so they can make it great again for the beta/first 2 weeks of chel 20, so they used the "back by popular demand all new reintroduction of CLUB CHALLENGE", as that reason. A big thanks to EA for adding something back into the game that had been in the game for years. Last week I played 2 out of 3 LG games on 50+ ping, and one of those games I legit had the exact same feeling of chel 16 captain lag.

Players and managers (even the do-nothing ones) didn't sign up for this shit. Only reason I buy chel every year is to play in this league. If the game was like this upon release, signup numbers would have been at an all-time low. I 100% would not own this game - and 'that a fact'.

Would love to see the people who said they would quit... guarantee the bulk of them havent missed a season since they started playing league and now are acting like they would quit. The game isnt going to be good next year so not sure why being banned is even an issue

Quitting without getting a ban is still screwing people over so not really relevant.

 

I think he just means that regardless of the ban, we'd quit, if it weren't for screwing over your friends that want to play. Like I would've quit 18 seconds after signing up, but I'm a glutton for punishment so here I am.

If I wasn’t on a team with guys that I care about and guys that are genuinely good people, I would of taken the ban already. I personally signed up this season due to how the Beta played and how pre-release was advertised. If I would have known how disastrous EA was going to torch this game, it would of been an easy decision to save my 60 bucks. I purely buy NHL for LG and club. Hard to be happy about a half ass product and the gameplay state of this game right now. Theres no skill gap, a terrible club challenge that has serious issues, and the game play is extremely slow to the point of feeling like you are in quicksand. Who actually supports these types of issues that EA has given us this year?

 

Game has sucked since Rammer took over. It's only going to go backwards until someone else comes in.

No, this game is terrible, the skating has been completely ruined, there is no creativity anymore in offences, 90% of the shots I’ve faced in league games so far have been turd shots looking for rebound goals. It’s boring to play, it’s boring to watch. The BETA was absolutely amazing, now the game is shit.

 

How was hitting LT every time on offense and holding RS everytime on defense creative ?

 

I’d rather see someone pulling off sick LT moves than face 20 turd shots a game. But I wasn’t aiming my comment towards LT moves, I was aiming it towards defense having a 40ft pass interception range even when looking away from the puck.

 

Sick LT moves made me laugh... sick move man how did you do that ? Uhh hold LT... oh okay how about that sick dangle ?.... uh hold LT.

Also I’ve never intercepted a pass facing the wrong way, only when square holding “you guessed it LT”

Maybe goalie mode gives you superpowers

 

I’ve seen many passes intercepted when someone, dman or forward wasn’t faced towards where the pass was being made from. I don’t know what game you’re playing but it’s a common issue amongst many.

No, I want EA to implement something that doesn’t allow someone to intercept a pass they aren’t facing. It’s a simple concept, don’t know why you’re struggling to grasp it.
