Is there some sort of world wide club rankings available? I mean, I don't know 'jack' about these clubs as I'm not a big soccer fan other than the big tournies (olympics, world cup, etc.), but EA's soccer games for the box ROCK. If I'm fortunate enough to get in the league (I hope) I just want to make sure I don't select a 'pooper' team. :)

There are plenty of top tier club teams in the world so don't worry you won't get stuck with a 'pooper' team..... Although there are a few teams that are a half step above the rest such as Manchester United, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Juventus, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Celtic, and AC Milan

You can take an mls team if you'd like...I'm not sure how many wins you'd get though

If any of you have played fifa games in the past you can see how much worse the mls teams are compared to the rest of the world as they are like in real life

Its funny though, how the majority of the US Nat'l Team is made up of MLS players, yet they still made it to the Semi's in the World Cup and England???

Yeh, and Friedel, remember his amazing save against Korea on the PK? I am not taking away from Euro leagues at all, or the English Nat'l team, as chemistry plays a lot as well. The talent in the MLS is just spread too evenly. If you could use the MLS All Stars you would be ok.

The mls all stars would still be a sub par team and would still stand no chance against the top teams in europe

Meh, I would say average if you are talking about all of Europe. Premiership, a little bit below average. Give the MLS a decade and another good outting for the US Nat'l team and the MLS with have some respect from the world. Hopefully Adu will live up to expectations on all teams.
