I first wanted to congratulate Bridgeport on their back and forth series win. The better team won this series and I've had nothing but respect for them and the NYI organization. Losing always sucks, but if I'm going to lose, I'd like to lose to a team that beats us fair and square. No tag recovery, no second tag shit, just their guys against our guys, and that's what Bridgeport did. With that said, I'm sure there's a few of you that are getting off on us being eliminated, and that's fine. I ruffled some feathers this season speaking my mind and made some enemies. I'm not ashamed of losing to a team like Bridgeport. I'm sure people will say we choked, that's fine. People will second guess the lines I put out there, trades I made during the season etc. I've never been one to run my mouth about how good of a GM I am. Things didn't go the way I wanted, but I won't sit here and make excuses, that just takes away from what Bridgeport did. With all of that said, the partnership between Maxwell and I as management, with @NugeTV as our owner has come to an end. It's been a fun eight months or whatever it's been, probably closer to a year for Nuge and I working together. I couldn't have asked for better guys to work with. Nuge had always supported my teams whether it be Kelowna in the CHL or Albany here in the AHL. It's a shame that the league is losing a guy like that as an owner. This league would be 10x better with more owners like him (@BMCDONALD19). The thought of doing management for anyone else is scary. With Maxwell, we've been down the same road for a while now, finally did management together. Two completely different personalities, disagreed on 95% of the stuff we talked about in this game, but somehow it made us better management. I think he mentioned that no one has had a better two season regular season record than Albany. That's not too bad for some average NHL 14 players. We've obviously had a lot of good guys that have been with us for the long run, too many to name, but I've appreciated all the work you guys put into it as well. I've had a lot of fun these two seasons in the AHL. The community overall is pretty good, just ruined by a few really bad apples. I'll be back here for S19 to do management again, I've already started the process of finding a new AGM to constantly make fun of, and I'll be looking for another Nuge to constantly harass through text. Though I feel set back with some of the shadyness of S18, I still have some faith that it will get cleaned up by S19, but maybe that's just naive of me. Best of luck to the rest of the teams in the playoffs and I'll see the rest of you in S19. Cheers. P.S. Just tagging @LetterCome, because it's fun.
