You can play fun matches with real players, but those won't count. So which type of player will you make? Your real life self? A pro players not already created in the game (Agassi, Roddick, William sisters)? Or some clown looking fat dude with a tennis racquet?
ALIEN!! can you even go that route? maybe you can get a person that looks like tris, that is about as alien as i think you can get.
i think sampras will though, which is weird because sampras is the one on the verge of retirement, and agassi is the one still playing strong (currently #3 on tour). oh well, im sure you can make a well detailed version of agassi if you wish.
as much as i like agassi, i'll say i just have to put myself in it. only concern is this, how do you create your self in terms of abilities/strengths? do you have to pass certain skilll tests in the game? or just assigned points to the abilities section? the latter will suck specially if some MORON will put 99% on all categories such as speed, serve etc.
Assuming ! That the create a player option also has a create a Name or "Nickname" option. I am putting down claim on the Name/Nickname " Duce ".. Will anybody else be creating new Alias's ?
A fat dude that was an amazing player would be great. I don't know if any of you caught ESPN.com's rankings of the greatest video game athletes of all time - but the fat hockey dude from Nintendo hockey made the list - just unmovable.
