I played in one of the daily tournaments this morning, and I noticed all the fluffy non-tour garbage was in there (spin after contact, putt line, etc...). Is there a separate daily tournament without all of that crap in there? A "tour" daily tournament that perhaps I'm missing?
Yep. Crappy, huh? I'd sure like to believe that there's a separate daily tournament for Tour difficulty players. Or maybe I missed something?
I assume your character is Tour Pro difficulty, right? If so, then you cannot put spin on the ball after it's in flight. However, you can always apply spin before your shot by using the right thumbstick to change the loft of the clubface (which is the only way to do topspin or backspin with a Tour difficulty character). However, if you're playing in one of those non-Tour daily tournaments, then it doesn't matter what skill level your character is. After your ball takes off, you move one of the thumbsticks (the left one, I think) in the direction you want to spin the ball and tap the A button. It's cheap as hell. :evil: Good information.
