Day 1 LGBA predictions and spreads

Day 1 of LGBA season 31 is upon us!

The Schedule for todays matchups are out. Looks like line 1s are out tonight, this will be an amazing kick off to the season.
Almost all of the best lines are coming out and there are a total of 18 games being played today. Here are the spreads and predictions for tonights games:

Nets (-4.5) vs Hornets: Hornets are still trying to figure out their lines and will probably take a couple of weeks to get the chemistry right, Blitz and Mason will do their best to keep the game close, but Vxnue and Dash Dummy will lock up Blitz and force him to take a lot of contested jumpers: Nets 70 - Hornets 55
Nets vs Heat (-2.5): Dont sleep on the Heat! itsFN is gonna get buckets. Did iDemand put together a god squad? There has to be a reason everyone wants to trade for these guards they got . This will be a grit and grind game where the Nets will come up with the upset: 64 - 62 Nets
Nets (-2.5) vs Celtics: Celtics will have a few rough patches, especially at the start of this season, I expect the Nets defense to give Jello and Dom a hard time, the others will need to score a ton. Nets in a close one: 68 - 66
Knicks vs Celtics (-3.5): This game will lie on the shoulders of Blues world (aka beware demon) and Zay to lock in on the backend to limit the production of Jbiz and Shootz. They are going with the element of surprise, but I still have the Celtics to win this. The Celtics will win this game in a close battle: Celtics 76 - 72
Celtics vs Grizzles (-8.5): Will Froom show? thats going to be the weekly question for the Grizzles. But he will tonight, and Froom and GoHard are going to be scoring in bunches this game, Blues world is going to have a rough go at it here. Grizzles in a flood: 88 - 60
Grizzles (-10.5) vs Heat: This will be closer than people think! This is going to be a barnburner, back and forth they go, it will come down to the fourth quarter where the better defense prevails. Grizzlies: 92 - 88
Knicks vs Grizzles (-14.5): Will Knicks be able to stop Froom and GoHard at all? I dont think they will be able to get enough stops to keep up with the Grizzlies, this will be over by halftime. Grizzlies in a flood: 80 - 52
Hornets (-1.5) vs Knicks: Jbizz and Shootz will do all they can in the game, but the Hornets will come out strong in this one, to win their only game of the night. Blitz SL and Mecciah drops 40+; Knicks 68 - 60
Heat (-4.5) vs Hornets: The combination of FN and Witt will drop 50 this game. Mecciah will do everything he can on the defensive end, but it will be too much for him at the end: Heat win 78 - 66
Thunder (-14.5) vs Clippers: Jett will do what he can to keep them close, but Thunder will dominate from start to finish. Venom will be able to bring back his old self from previous seasons and put the rest of the league on notice. Thunder in a flood: 95 - 69
Clippers vs Bulls (-1.5): Brow, Brick Fiend and Buhkee (B cubed) will carry this game to give the Bulls their lone win of the night. They will score 50 together and beat the clippers in a grit and grind game that will be decided in the fourth. Bulls: 68 - 65
Rockets (-10.5) vs Clippers: In the final game of the night for both teams, the Rockets will be coming off a game against the Suns and will look to cruise through this game. I have them over the clippers in a game that is closer than it should have been; Rockets win 70-62
Rockets (-8.5) vs Lakers: This would be a game that is a rare circumstance in 2k, this will be a battle of the big men here, showcasing some of the best big men in the league today. TKO and Woj will be going up against Xuhmp and Viz, the rebounding edge will go to the Rockets and they will come out on top with a solid 2nd half. Rockets: 72 - 60
*GAME OF THE NIGHT* Suns vs Rockets (-1.5): In my earlier power rankings, these guys are 3 and 4. I think they will battle at those rankings all season long. Who wins tonight will decide who the true 3 seed is. Paca comes out and dominates to lead his team, but doesnt get over the hump and the Suns come out on top at the end. Suns: 68-66
Bulls vs Suns (-2.5): This is going to be a very close game. Rainy is going to be battling BROW on the offensive end and this will come down to who hits the big shots. My money is on Rainy on this one: Suns take this one on a teethgrinder: 77-76
Suns (-6.5) vs Lakers: TKO, Gibbs and ZDJ will keep the Lakers in it early, but sometime in the second quarter, they will lose steam and the Suns will eventually break away. They will be tired of the first two close games and go on win in a big margin. Lakers: 85 - 66
Lakers vs Thunder (-18.5): ZDJ + TKO will do everything he can and drop 30 here but the tandem of Venom and Tee will be too much for the Lakers dropping 50+. Thunder cruise to victory: 83 - 55
Thunder (-12.5) vs Bulls: BROW vs Venom, 2 out of 3 of the most expensive PGs out there. Thunder have too much for the Bulls as far as a supporting cast, even though the Bulls have Buhkee, the Thunder will already be in a good flow and start off hot. Thunder runs away with this one at the end of the first half with ease: 92 - 73
