I’m sure there’s some other guys on here like me, whether stay-at-home dads or a single parent. I’m trying to provide some easy dinner recipes that can be taken care of during the day, so that way when LG game time rolls around, the kids are full and asleep, and the Sig. other is happy that you’ve made dinner and cleaned up. Baked Ziti: Ingredients: · 1 Lbs. ground beef (.5 Kg, I know its not an exact conversion but who’s going to complain about more meat) · 1 lbs. ground sausage (mild or hot, up to your preference) · 1 box of pasta (penne, ziti, macaroni, farfalle) · 1 bag shredded cheese (I lean towards the 6 Cheese Italian blend) 1 Jar of your favorite sauce · Seasoning (kosher salt, pepper, garlic salt/powder, dried rosemary, oregano) Preparation: · Brown sausage, move to separate bowl · Brown ground beef in same pan, add to bowl · Boil at least 4 QT (3.79 L) (add salt and/or olive oil for seasoning) · Combine all cooked ingredients in shallow baking dish, and sauce · Top with bag shredded cheese · Bake at 350 Degrees Fahrenheit or 177 Degrees Celsius for 15 minutes. This should feed 2-3 adults for 3 night at least. If you guys want more, I can do more.
