just finished Cano Highlands with 65-65-65-63. This is the most frustrated and angry I've been on the LT so far. From burning edge after edge, I kept missing on the high side 98% of the time on my near misses. Then taking a quad on the second hole where I hit my second in the water rehit and hit the exact same shot again. I mean come on. I could never properly judge how much club loft to take off to allow for the bounce forward onto the green. I kept missing the false fronts by a couple feet. Kept missing ridges on the wrong side leaving downhill sliders. Then worst of all my speed was never right all 4 days. My putts that I did make were ramming in the back saving me 6-8 foot come backers or just barely tipping in. Rant over. Phew.
You have almost a 600 point lead on the rest of us. I think you will be ok!:-D I get frustrated too but I play this game to relax. I have enough stress during the week trying to pay bills and keep the wife and kids happy.
Same here, but When I just play rounds for fun, that's when I relax. I guess it's just about expectations I set for myself. I want to always get better and improve. It's like any competitive sport. When I shot -47 on Mojave, I felt it was harder than Cano. "Just one of those days" as Tiger would say lol
I got to agree with disturbed I left at least 15 putts out the so I feel your pain. The course was a poor choice in respects to the was a lot of edges around the course that weren't finished but I that note I finished my 4th round with a hole in one on the 18th so I will always remember the course for that reason lol popped my cherry at last
Have to admit that I felt pretty good going in when I beat disturbed in a practice round yesterday, but I had no idea I'd be able to call myself the clubhouse leader. (even if that only lasts a few hours, it feels good). The most fun part about this game is that I actually felt the Sunday nerves creep in. My swing was lost, I needed to make a hell of a lot of putts on the back to even shoot -4. THIS GAME IS AWESOME
You very rarely get exactly what you think you deserve in a round of golf. I think that being frustrated when shooting -30 is a little over the top though? Many people who play this game, me included would love to be able to shoot scores like that on Cano, a very frustrating course, where a lot of luck with bounces and rolls comes in to play.
i know how you feel bro especially when you know you can play better my first two round i struggled to 100% again it was terrible shooting for me when i know i can play better

Not sure whats more disappointing for me, playing Tomahawk for the first time in a month for a practice round and shooting -10 and then going into my first round straight after and only getting -5.......had 3 eagles as well. 2 of the eagles were fairway holeouts on #1 and #9 and now when I go into twitch to try and make a highlight all I get is a black screen when trying to view past broadcasts grrrrrr. Oh well at least the full rounds are on the broadcast page here. Anyone have tips on how to get Twitch to work and uploading highlights?
yea i play a few holes to get use to green speed then i quit im the same way then i get pissed when i shoot a great practice when i could have counted

Golfs still an addictive game to play, probobly the hardest sport to master, Michael Jordan once said to Tiger Woods, "i can go on the court and not be focused and still get 40 pts, with golf you have to be mentally there in your head when playing" i guess thats why Woods as now lost it :grin:
im enjoying this game and this tour especially after playing golf for 25 years and having a handicap of 9 i love the visualisation n this game , neaways was curious as to what the real life handicaps of the tour leaders were -_- !! as if i were -30 would be walking around with a huge smile on my face and celebrating my ability rather than venting frustration. Congrats great scores , those 1st 3 holes jeez !! . When the online fourball, foursomes and matchplay begins i expect to see some tough televised battles between the top 10 on here lol
