Disclaimer: I do not condone any actions that any banned person has made over the years. A great deal of bans are justified and deserved this is just an opinion of both me and I am sure a large part of the community. This has nothing do with any action centres that I have ever been involved with. I know this isn't just me thinking this. LG needs a major reform in regards to disciplinary actions, the action center and decision making. The way things are ran right now are borderline unacceptable for a site that makes so much off of the bans. There is absolutely ZERO consistency in action center decisions. One person will be banned or reprimanded for something and another will be let off for literally the exact same thing. We all know bogs do play favourites in regards to minor offences but I wish the community would stand up and really push for a new way of doing things. I know the world is changing (for the worst IMO) in regards to what you can and can't say, but that is not where the issue lies. The issue lies within the consistency and system of the disciplinary actions. I am not sure what will be the best way to police LG, but something needs to change. A committee of a set number of people who are voted in by the community would be great as most of us know what is right and wrong. Furthermore, I suggest a committee so every single action can be voted on, agreed upon and unanimous. One person should not be running the show whereas at the end of the decision it fucks with someones experience (sometimes justifiable, a lot of times it isn't). Appeals make no sense and its almost like you have to be a top figure in the community to even have a chance at appeal. Ultimately, I am just sick of how this site keeps being so inconsistent. The bogs talk to people like they are lesser than them and railroad you 50-75 percent of the time when you ask for answers. This is not just my opinion, I have had many chats with many people about the inconsistency and overall environment here on leaguegaming.com. Something needs to change and honestly with the site being ran by so few people it probably won't, but If enough top tier players and community members step up and speak out maybe we can evolve the current system within the next few years, because at the end of the day people come here for competitive fun to get away from the real world.
