MVP (player judged most valuable to his team) dark horse should be @l Miller 16 l Hartford's AGM or @xcollinsx89 also from Hartford

Being in the toughest division this season and in those last couple weeks helped lead their team to a 10+ game win streak, and another current 3 game win streak to just finally squeak past Charlotte for that last spot, sitting 5th and 9th in points, I feel if they didnt play to their potential Hartford would have been 100% S.O.L. Collins posted a better record then Miller, but let not forget MILLER IS CARRYING DANKY HELLOOOOO.

Although Euro has also had an amazing season, he proved with his week suspension that Stockton was still elite and although im sure they missed him they kept on keeping on, If Miller or Collins were gone for a week or unexpectedly missed time due to suspension etc. I dont know if Hartford could survive in as close of a division race as they were in down the stretch.

TL,DR version: Euro is elite and had an amazing season deserves the scoring title 100%, but the most valuable player to his team to me would be someone like one of those 2 guys.

Yeah they made playoffs but we won our conference and that’s huge in the playoffs for advantage. Our team was 4th in our division at the point I got suspended and then we went on a 19 game win streak to get back in the race with San Diego.

 

If you go on a 10 game win streak with DANKY on your team, cmon now thats special

I just have no idea how the last 2 weeks he went 6-0 with danky, thats harder than beating a super team of Prov/Stockton combined

 

I got traded at the deadline in s19 to play with danky and put up ridiculous numbers to end the season and went on to face my former team for the calder.

 

Thats like 10 seasons ago, everyone had a prime once

I have to contest the notion that it's easier to build a contender over multiple seasons than one season.

The fact that you do need to resign people, constantly stroke egos over the course of multiple months, keep fickle personalities in check, and maintain momentum seems like it'd arguably make it as difficult as getting there in one season.

However it is probably a more consistent route to success. Not easier, but less risky. You don't have to get as lucky. It should also be encouraged. LG is more fun when teams have coherent histories and personalities over multiple seasons.

But we're not here to reward good luck. We're here to reward skill, effort, and competition. While skill should seek out equal competition, the effort has certainly been there. If there's any argument to be made against Brisan as GM of the season, it's that he is already established as a competent NHL player. There is nothing for him to prove down here as a player or manager and his success is expected.

@KrawcH v2 clearly deserves the Best GM award for S30. The guy has quickly worked his way up from the CHL, stepped into the Stockton GM role after being AGM and they haven't missed a beat coming off last season. If anything, they've gotten better, though they also benefited from having Ontario and Bakersfield in their division.

I would strongly recommend taking a look at @GRG allstarbear for Bastien. Has the 4th best numbers in the league on a garbage team. He carried his team to those wins. Unlike the other 3 goalie that beat him with numbers, his team didn't win the division or conference.

I know @Darcy Kuemper was playing against most top teams but hes also playing for the #1 team in the league. I do agree he is probably the best goalie in the AHL but GAA will always be better when playing on a top team.

@TheCheetahlo 33 is another example on how inflated goalie stats can be when playing for a top team. Week 1 to 4, played on some shit teams but still had respectable stats. Since joining Stockton, his numbers went through the roof. Looking at bit deeper, looks to like he plays a mix of playoff and shitter teams.

@Waxibono , 3rd goalie with top numbers. Again, another division title team. But he hasn't always played for Rockford, he started the first 7 weeks on that shit SYR team. Rockford did help him get most of his SO by playing him vs non playoff teams.

A more in depth look at strength of schedule and team faced would need to be done but I would give the Bastien to @GRG allstarbear with @Darcy Kuemper as runner up.
