Dressing Room Error fix

    How do I go about changing it in my modem? I don’t have a pc. Only my PS hooked directly into my modem. No router.

    Perfect. That's the way you need to get in. You need to be hard wired directly to your modem from a computer you need to open the start menu down in the left hand side go to search programs type in CMD it should come up as command prompt open this (it el be a black text only screen)> type ipconfig hit enter you should see three sets of numbers come up along enough a bunch of other stuff but these 3 will be one right after another stacked up, IP address subnet mask and Gateway right down the Gateway IP address (example 192.168.0.1)> then go to your internet browser go to the address bar remove everything and put in just that IP address hit enter this should take you to the login screen of your gateway or your modem usually the username and password are admin and password Google search your modems model number to find out the login information> from there it's going to be modem specific but you want to go to internet connections there should be a spot where you can see DNS servers and it will say use Dynamic assigned from internet service provider or use these DNS servers you want to click use these DNS servers and type in the 8.8. 8.8 and 8. 8. 4. 4 as the primary and secondary DNS servers and hit save your modem will restart and will now be using the Google DNS servers. Most of this can be found with simple Google searches on how to do it for your specific modem but that is the gist of it.

    You might be able to do it from your PlayStation so instead of going to the command prompt you would open an internet browser on your PlayStation after you go to view connection status and write down the Gateway IP address then follow other steps accordingly

    I’ve tryed both. They don’t work at all. Only thing they did was make my connection slower. Still got dressing room errors all over.

    OpenDNS gives me much higher speeds and a better ping than google. I'm in Delaware. 25 mins from Philly,15 minutes from maryland and 10 minutes from jersey

    No, none of these dns will fix this problem. This is a shitty EA code issue and rerouting our traffic to different servers when every other game works without issue is not a solution. You may however get better speeds or ping by changing your dns if your router is using a congested dns

    at least you guys haven't reached the point where you are booting your PS4 in safe mode and rebuilding the database like the CHLers are

    Imagine paying $100 for a game and having to do all this shit to get it to work properly. This would have gotten patched in a couple of hrs if it was happening for HUT. EA needs competition.
