    European players and

Just an FYI, I've played quite a few european players, some great matches, others with lag. If your an oversea's player and others experince lag while playing you, we must earge you to drop out as it's an unfair advantage.

Yeah, I played a European earlier this evening (not from this league, it was optimatch) and the lag was unbelievably bad. Frame rate dropped in half, couldn't time anything.

Well it's quite weird, cause I didn't had any lag on my side...

And again, I have played tens of matches against people of the US and have never experienced any lag against them, and they didn't complain they had lag on there side against me, so...

but hey i go to bed now

    I agree with Tris10

Yea, I played a guy from London last night and the frame by frame was so slow that it took about 5 seconds for the ball to cross over to the other side of the court. Luckily, he was a nice guy and quit the game.

I don't think you should request for Euro players to drop out if the lag is bad...I think it should be a rule....

I have to add that my match with you Xohrum, was the laggiest I had ever thought possible. My framerate was chopped in half, and there was no chance I could even get my timing down. I am not sure what the problem was but I didn't have anything else hogging up internet access. I may be a little frustrated, but in our match, the lag was impossible for me to deal with. As it was very hard to have any shot timed right. I hope we can look into this issue a little more!

I'm going to venture a guess and suggest that it may be the 10,000 miles or so between your XBox's.

It is clear that fast twich action games like this (and many sports games) can simply not be played with most Europeans because of lag issues.

Not really fair to the rest of the league if you can't get a good connection to the majority of our US/Canadian members, just like running a 56k modem and using ICS to connect your XBox on XBL wouldn't be a fun experience for your opponent either.

So far, 3 matches with Xohrum and 2 of the members have reported unplayable lag... one member has not commented but I'm guessing it was a similar experience.

    Xohrum's first round

The guy who lost to Xohrum in the first round is a good friend of mine and right after they played, my friend told me that the lag was ludicrous and it messed up all his shots......

I think Euro players should be allowed to play; however, if there is such lag, the game should be called and the Euro player should forfeit. Tris10, I think that you should makes this a rule instead of a request....Its just not fair to others, ya know? Just a suggestion anyway...nothing at all against you Xohrum...its just EXTREMELY frustrating playing games like that....

    Peace...

Upgrade your "broadband" if you're getting lag.

I'm not even sure this would help the situation. Its really a distance issue. Not much we can do about it, seeing how we are 6 hours away.

How can one experience horrible lag and then the other not experience any?!?! Unless they are two shots ahead, in which case, hopefully they are able to finish off the point :)

All i can say is at least i'm not the only one that had this problem with him,

So far all 3 of his players have complained about his lag.

I have very good friend I play form Australia and experience no lag issues. And Australia is a lot further away then Europe. So I dont believe distance is the issue here. I play many people from the UK and a few from France and havent really had any lag issue. Just the normal jump here and there but that happens with a guy I play in the next county. (25 miles away).

I don't think the problem with Australian players would be lag, but be the 13 or so hour difference.

Does it matter who is hosting the session? Does anyone know if that makes a difference? Was Xohrum the host?

Thats what I mean. Distance really has nothing to do with lag as was stated earlier. Australia is a lot further away than Europe. But its weird, I have no problem playing European players. I gat more lag playing guys in the US and Canada it seems.
