Hey guys, from what MS has been saying, XSN is going live today and since we are probably going to use XSN for "score backup" we wanted everyone to get some experince in it, So probably this week we will hold an exb tournament, I checked this morning and so far xsn-links still isn't up, so i can't confirm the dates, but if your interested please post below The details (although depending on xsn, might be subject to change) are: -Difficulty: Advanced -Course: Grey Wolf -Rounds: 4 -Tee's: Champ. -Wind: Breezy -Pins: Med. -Mulligans: none
I'm in for sure. Can't wait to see what how XSN lets us play tournaments. If we can do an open format, ie. play at any time during a set span of days, that would be perfect. My only concern with XSN is people disconnecting or something before their round is over. As long as they have controls for cheating, I'll be very happy with that system.
i'm pretty sure we'll know how it will handle disconnects when raptor pulls his network wire after he has his 2-holes of death late in the round
Looks like they might be working on updating the site cause I get an page access error when I tried to login.
I'm in. XSN was supposed to go live for Links at midnight PST this morning. Darryl Welsh (developer) on the Links forum (Xbox.com) said it looks like there is a 24 hour delay.
hey hey now. No matter how bad I do I always finish the round. havent dropped out of one yet. 8) But I agree disconnects suck i dont like how if someone disconnects you dont get credit for the win. like in the skins game with jon and tris last night jon had just sank his putt to win and we wanted to start another game so tris signed out to set it up. but he left before the score was registerd so no one got the win for it. but just to let everyone know I won that match hehehe Raptor710 -6 skins XboxJon -2 skins Tris10 -1 skins
Im getting the game today. IF i dont totally stink by the weekend, and I can still get in, Ill be there. Key word is "if".
it usually takes about a day and a half to get over stinking, dont get discouraged we all went through it.
Yeah, I was pretty bad my first round or two on advanced. For sure play an hour or two on beginner then intermediate, until you get the feel for the swing. Then get working on that advanced character.
