FIFA 17 - 'LGFA XI' club idea

A council/poll/stats can be useful for Team A. If it's just a council, I can see a bunch of people just wanting to put the veterans of LGFA or their friends in and not much others having a chance.

 

Match ratings should have something to do with this as well, and is also apparently very important in improving your player in Fifa 17. If you aren't meeting a certain average rating when playing with the team, you shouldn't be on it.

 

I was TOTS, I'd be down to play.

 

Wouldn't hurt (so long as each is representing us well) to setup like 5 teams...? Keep the top 2 like you guys have already talked about...and the other 3 with more (but not much more) leniency regarding the performance requirements. After all, if they see 1 or 2 LGFA teams, that'll be nice to see and it will be visible.

If you see 5 teams up there...then questions will start to be asked and then you get noticed. I could be wrong I suppose, but that's my thoughts. (everyone of course will want to play in the top most team possible). Don't forget if they all are doing well...Team B could possibly do better than Team A on the leaderboards.

Defenders and fwds wont always be able to be above 80% passing against good teams.

 

Yeah. There is games at CB where I have kept a Clean Sheet and got MOTM but had a passing % of around 30%. Defenders should be graded on...

1. Clean Sheet
2. Clearances
3. Interceptions

(2 and 3 can be switched)

A good defender doesn't have to know how to pass.

 

I think we are looking a little too indepth about this. I feel like someone should be captain and can pick a Line up. There's no accurate way we can track people's passing percentage consistently.

Or we can do poll votes or put together a committee to make picks. People are going to have league practices and other leagues going on throughout the season the not every night at the same time is the same "top 11" going to be on.

Or, With The people who want to contribute to this team, we can make some sort of group message (either on LG or on some sort of group app) and people can post there availability for each day. I feel like this is something that will be a day by day thing to figure out

 

Or just make it 1st come first serve altogether.

I've been on a team like this before; the manager would contact us 8 or so hours in advance to see if we could play. If at least 6-7 of the starters can make it, we'd go on with the games. The rest would be filled in by backup players.

Obviously, this is still in the conceptual stages but I think what Leo Messi will want to do is figure out the goals of this club and how much productivity will be going on.

for messaging - just use conversations on LG. don't need another app etc. Use the LG app if needed. The game itself also has a 'notify team players' type of option for managers to notify everyone in the club....which would encourage attendance in the club.

If its an open invitation/first come first serve, we will definitely need more than one club. It will fill up in minutes once the evening hits.

 

Yeah im with roon. I dont like the statistic aspect. If someone is holding the team back from winning consistantly then you just have to ask them not to play

 

Reading through a lot of the comments made I thought this was just advertisement for the website not a ego-fulfilling contest.

Yeah if you are having a bad day don't play. If you are just bad beware that you be called bad and not be able to play. If that is consistent expect to never play.

Yeah I mean the goal is to get the club at the top of the leaderboards... In saying that some people might get their feelings hurt but that's why there should be a fair way to determine who will play. I feel like availability is the best way of doing that but this is still just in the thinking stage... We aren't going to actually have this going until FIFA 17
