Forum Tour Wk10 & No Skillz Match Play are Up

We need 9 more for the match play event. I extended the start date but if we don't fill it it will be dissolved again.

Is Kapalua the problem or are people just not interested in play no skillz match play?

 

I think we have a ton of people interested in no skillz match play (based on the response of the team league wanting to run with my idea of a weekly league here for it), so maybe Kapalua is the problem.

If it dissolves again, maybe set it up for 16 @ Kapalua for a quickie tournament.

 

Shush, I would play, but I play in the singles league here (2 slots at times), the J Nice Tour, the MW Tour, and your Forum Tour. That d*mn 5 slot XSN rule makes it almost impossible to have a match play tourney on my slate, they just take too long.

TMG - the original Kapalua tournament was dissolved (didn't fill up in time) and Shush had to remake it.

Ok, I posted this on the noskills forum too. I don't really have the room but joined anyway. Hopefully, I'll get knocked out of the first round. However, if I don't, I probably will have to end up forfeiting any subsequent match. My intentions are to fill up the slots though so everybody else isn't left out in the cold and this tournament gets underway. However, there are still three open slots.

 

Just a clarification to the No Skills rules. No Skills means No Skills, that's obvious. However, what about the equipment upgrades?

I have been toying with the idea of unlocking all the courses so I can practice on them with the zero skills, but was wondering about the equipment.

 

No skills is meant to be played without the upgrades too. However, I don't know if there's anyway to detect that except for looking at the club distances of the other player. I guess at the same time though those few extra don't really matter, because it boils down to putting.

You can still go through and unlock the courses, just don't change your equipment. I know you probably knew that, but thought I'd throw it out there anyway.

Also, I may be wrong on all that, I just assumed it was always 0 skills without upgrades.

 

Why spend the time, you can unlock all courses by holding both triggers & pressing the 'X' & 'Y' buttons simultaneously.

 

Is there a specific time you need to do this. Like on Disc Boot Up or something?
