These wild are…well Wild. Realistically being given no chance to succeed after an abysmal season 34 with the monsters and managing under 2nd year owner Dr. Yargage who dissected the Wild last season has shockingly surprised everyone by having the best record in the AHL after just 15 short games. Tonight, these Wild are sending out what appears to be a mixed lineup of Cosine (12 points) Rico & Mike Scott (s35 MVP.) Behind them is the top pair duo of skuttlebut and recent acquisition of Grandpa Thumbz who will look to shut down Providence’s high-powered offense. In net for this showdown boasting a 2.06 GAA is recyclebinhero. If Iowa has any chance to win this game defense will need to be strong and hero will need to be on his A-game.

Providence Bruins (10-3-2)

Similar to the Wild the Baby B’s stormed out of the week 1 gate going a surprising 8-0-1 but have seemingly come down to earth in Week 2 so far having gone 2-3-1. The B’s will counter with Nifty (9 points) Dean9791 and LG’s most hated Broomball16. The interesting part here will be if Nifty is to show up. He was given two strikes in week 1 having only played one game and has played two games in two nights with this being his 3rd in three nights. (Great scheduling) If I had to guess, nifty won’t be showing up to this one. On defense the B’s will go with stackcity715 and GK King207. Combined these guys have yet to lose in regulation and considering this game I doubt this will be the first one. In net will be TealCypress3011 who is boasting his own 3.02 GAA, he will need defensive support in front of him to stop this wild offense.

Favorites:

Offense – Removing Scott & Broom from this equation and comparing LW’s & C’s and also assuming Nifty shows up, I am giving the nod to the B’s on this one.

Defense – I don’t know much about the 4 guys in this game other than Thumbz and I know the dman he can be. Therefore, I’m going to give the nod to the Wild here.

Goalie – Both of these guys are solid and can be good with any line in front of them. Going away from stats purely on this one I’m giving the nod to Recycle bin here and I believe he has the overall better quality of players in front of him.

Prediction:

Iowa Wins 3-2 in 2OT

Mike Scott is going to talk so much shit upon the conclusion of this game I can feel it. (P.S The office still sucks)
