How Do I? Getting Through The Vetting Process!

    Vetting has now been added to the Action Center as a new ticket for all our new players to fill out.

    The process is pretty straight forward and if the user fills out ALL of the required fields correctly it makes it easier on me to approve the player for play here on LeagueGaming.


    PSN Vetting

    • Head to the action center
    • Select Vetting
    • Select Playstation
    • fill out ALL of the required fields!
    • Here are examples of the required images:
      • Log in Screen

        • If in this image there are multiple accounts I need to see a profile image for the EACH account, and the exact spelling of the Gamertags NEEDS to be listed in the "message" box located in the vetting ticket.

        • If there is ONLY one account in the first image, the first image is all that is needed to be provided.
    Things to Consider:
    1. The ticket has an area where the user is required to link the account in which they share PSN + with. We require ALL new users to have PSN + or be linked to a PSN + account (that is currently NOT ON LG) in order to get through the vetting process.
    2. We require each user to be registered from a unique IP address from their home network! Users who register from a mobile network will be required to log back into the website from their home network for our records.
    3. We do NOT PERMIT users registering with a VPN, proxy server or ANY IP HIDING software or company. These accounts are automatically denied and in most cases deemed as second tags and automatically site issued a site ban.
    4. Our system has the ability to reference the sony network to see what accounts are PSN+ and what accounts are not.
    5. Our system has the ability to link user's IP addresses to a user already on the website.

    Xbox Vetting

    • Head to the action center
    • Click on Vetting
    • Click on Xbox
    • Fill in the required information

      • On Xbox, we need to see ALL of the accounts in which a new user has access to!
      • If this screenshot has more than one account, we require the user to put a typed out list in the "message" box of the vetting ticket they required. We require the typed listed for future reference if needed.
    Things to Consider:

    1. The ticket has an area where the user is required to link the account in which they share Xbox Gold with. We require ALL new users to have Xbox Gold or be linked to a Gold account (that is currently NOT ON LG) in order to get through the vetting process.
    2. We require each user to be registered from a unique IP address from their home network! Users who register from a mobile network will be required to log back into the website from their home network for our records.

    Requesting More Information

    With the updates to the Action Center staff and I have the option to send a ticket back to a user to add additional information. With the issues I have seen currently in vetting this feature is super handy because a majority of initial vetting requests are missing a lot of required information.

    The system will not send an alert to the user notifiying the user additional information is required.

      • In the player's alerts, there will be one that states "Ruling: Your action center request has been sent back because it requires more information"

      • By clicking on the alert this page will load up.
      • The "ruling" section will be the information that has been requested by staff.
      • Then the user will need to click the "My Actions That Require More Info" tab

      • This is what a user will see when asked for "additional" information for their vetting claim.
      • The red box at the top will have the information the staff is requesting.
      • The message box is where the user can reply back to the questions asked by the staff.
      • Once the questions are answered, "update" can be clicked resulting in the staff getting notified that additional information has been sent in.
    Once Your Account Has Been Vetted!

    Once a user has completed vetting and is approved to join the league an alert will be received stating vetting is completed.

    The final step would be to head to the "How Do I" section which is accessible from ANY page on the website and is located in the top left-hand corner of the toolbar!

    Here are the top 4 reasons why a vetting request is denied:

    • #1 – Please sign onto the LG website from your home IP address.
    • #2 – Please link the account you are sharing (Xbox Gold and/or PSN +) with? Your account linked to this ticket is not showing as (Gold and/or PSN +)
    • #3 – Please provide the required screenshots of all the accounts listed on the console.
    • #4 – Please explain why you have an IP match to ONE or MORE of the following users.

    Issue #1 - How Did You, Register?

    • If you registered from a mobile IP, VPN, or a public IP the system will flag your account.
    • Every user on the site needs to have their own unique IP which is from their home where the games will be played from.
    • Mobile IPs tend to have SEVERAL matches to other users
    • VPN services are NOT permitted.
    Issue #2 - Having a GOLD account
    • The majority of these issues are simply based on the fact that the primary account you registered with is not PSN Plus OR that the account you listed that you share gold with is ALSO not PSN Plus.
    • Just ensure that the correct information is given for these required fields within the vetting ticket you are completing
    Issues #3 - Required Screenshots
    • In some situations, a screen is required to show us exactly what accounts you have access to on your console.
    • Imgur.com is recommended to host your image for our review
    Issues #4 - IP Match to Current Active User
    • This is the most common issue we see!
    • I understand for a first-time user that this system seems very complex therefore it feels easier to have a friend log onto your account to help. When you allow a friend to do that, it flags both accounts as being one account thereby delaying the vetting requests from being approved.
    • Never allow anyone else access to your LG account!
