HELPFUL TIP: The Select Camera

It has come to my attention that everyone isnt aware of the feature that's known as the "Select Camera"
You see, normally people use select to switch their focus from the puck to their guy depending on the situation, but with select camera, you'll never have to do that again. What select camera does is it basically just keeps the puck, your guy, and your teammates in frame at all times. If youre a d man looking for that slapshot off the backboards play, youll be able to see where your forward is thats going for it, etc etc. Here's a quick tutorial on how to use it.

When you get in game, just hold select. You will see the camera switch focus like it normally does, but then after a few seconds it will switch to focusing somewhere in the middle of your guy and the puck, and that's when you let go. Give it a try and see what you think.

 

I will admit, I didn't know about this. I will hopefully remember to do this next time I'm on. Does it remember the camera setting, or is it something you have to do each time you sign on? Also, does it work on all camera angles?

 

You have to do it every time you get into a game. It's just like when you switch the camera from the puck to your guy. I know for a fact that it works on the high angles like Zone, Overhead, and Classic, but I'm not sure about the others.

I can now see behind the opposing team's net from my own blue line with the zone camera. Make sure auto-zoom is off.

I thought you had to turn auto zoom off for this? That’s what I’ve always done. It’s definitely legit.

 

I’ve always had auto zoom off, but that video appears to change the angle entirely to see yourself and the puck. Even on Overhead camera you can’t see behind the net from a few feet in front of the blue line

I play on zone. Not sure if Auto zoom is off or not but I couldn't seem to get it to work for me last night.
