Here is the Fix for Input Delay - posted on pg 1 initial post (also includes past posts)

Anyone know how to do this on a Bell Connection Hub Modem? I am connected directly into my modem. I have a LINKSYS router for my other devices because there is not enough ports in my modem. Should I plug my XBOX ethernet into the Router instead and try to block there.. Someone help please lol

 

If your able to access it i would stay with modem but i doubt thats the case. Linksys if im not mistaken can block website which should work.

I am on verizon Fios. If I do not see that IP address does that mean it is not interfering? Or if someone is more tech savy with these routers would be great to get some help

 

If you NOT find option in router for block adresse/ip. U need this setup

For those of you who have applied the block, try to remember how many games you have played as Home team captain without the lag.

 

I did it yesterday, haven't had input lag since. I've only been host like 3 times though, but I've been cap before every game.

@frost xi I just blocked the IP address and I just got into a game for the first time and I have no lag, I'll update you in a day or so when I can get a good amount of games in to test the solution

I wasn't able to block the IP address but when I blocked the website link I wasn't able to get online with my Xbox one at all.

When I removed the block I was able to get online no problem. I imagine maybe I did something wrong but considering I am not super savvy with this stuff I don't know how to fix it.

 

Do not set your ip as the Xbox ip in the fields. If you set the ip as your network ip then you will be fine. Setting the ip from your Xbox will act as a firewall for live services.

 

Has anybody who can't block IP addresses had success blocking the URL?
