Hosting Issues

Let me start it off by saying I pay for good quality internet and it rattles me when being the visiting team and you feel like your guy weighs 1000 pounds struggling to skate... It says "Good connection" but this shit is awful, you're player feels like he's skating in mud.

I feel like it's always the bad players on the opposite team hosting, that or Ronald let them inside McDonald's to use their WiFi. This is where my conclusion comes into hand with "Hosting Issues" and I general think that you shouldn't host if you have terrible internet, it affects people who have good or even just decent internet.

I am honestly so tired of playing games that I can't play to my full potential because of the connection issue where people decide to download porn and play at the same time. I would just sign up for home games but I would be called a "Scrub Hunter" and be told to "Get Good" so second thoughts, let's not do that.

With that being said, all I ask for is behalf of everyone if you are playing off of McDonald's WiFi or multitasking and downloading porn while playing the game at the same time please do everyone a huge favor so they don't have to scream into their mics and or possible break their mics and do not host..

The new private lobbies pick a host at random. Home team or not the connection is shit-letard. #sorrt #moist

I'm not just specifically talking about League games, Club comes into a factor in this topic as well.

 

game should pick the player with the best ping to host. or idk rewrite their netcode so someone else's shit doesn't affect me.

 

You couldn't have said it better bro.... I think there needs to be a rule that makes players with LAN cables ONLY host.... players are realizing it can help them out and are abusing it - its ruining the gameplay when one team is running clean and the other is handicapped because someone with shit internet is inheriting someones Clean internet. I've invested over $1,500 for the best internet, Modem, Router and I shouldn't be the one that gets the short end from a "Balancing internet connection" No one with shit internet should be hosting these formal games.... Period. I don't think its a coincidence that I've lagged in nearly All league games (AWAY), but when it comes to drops or club games I'm as clean as a fu**in whistle.

Also, in regards to broadcasting, which intertwines with this issue.... it needs to be from the Home team, and Home team ONLY. You don't need both teams broadcasting... I think this is another big reason, but the hosting issues need to be addressed ASAP, players are abusing it because it works and it's influencing and changing the outcomes of games. we all want good, clean, even games....and I would expect this league wants the same, I hope.

Away team gets better ice tilt and bounces tho. That said WIFI connection shouldn't be even allowed on EASHL or any online team play modes. Get hard wired connection or GTFO if you going to game online.

 

When you got the money, why not. I like top quality, which pisses me off when someone attaches their bullshit wifi on their phone to my internet. Take more from the wealthy to give to the poor... fu**in leetches

Heard that! EA screwed me last night. Glitched me so I could not move and then kicked me for poor team play. Cost my team a game. They need to step it up!

Lol i run wifi (most of the time with 2 PS4's running) and run clean every game i host. Never have lagged out of an LG game either. All you guys paying thousands for internet and are still lagging out make me laugh. Its just that Canadian internet that sucks

 

If you are lagging because of somebodies host it is not because of their download/upload speeds it is because of their location. East coast VS West coast, different ISP's and EA server traffic is what causes such big differences in game play speed between two teams.

The whole wooden router, mcdonalds wifi, downloading porn thing is just a joke it's not actually the main cause for the problem.

 

Don't tell me what to do. I like my porn to be ready for me after a lg game.

 

The game caters to poor connections, high ping and long distance players. It will lower or add ping delay to the guys with a quality line, down to those with crap. Sort of like the way they teach in school these days "no kid left behind". Our nice fast low ping internet can only be as good as the slowest guy in the lobby to make it "fair" for them. Sadly, the opposite effect is what happens. EA over-compensates the game delay and it fuggin sucks!! Feels like I have a string attached to my player and I'm dragging him around.

 

Why blame each others?

EA Sports says that EASHL is server based, not peer-to-peer like Versus.

EA Sports just blows at making games.
