    Im a madden-supporte

How different would it have been if ESPN could have moved there ship date ahead of NCAA 2005... For me it would have HUGE... Ive enjoyed the ESPN games since 2k1.. And would have thought this year was the year.. And it probably still is..

ESPN made leaps in bounds to out do madden.. I mean they put out a solid game.. with a great atmosphere, and a cheap price tag to boot... And in my mind, when i looked at the sweet deal im thinking.. There's nothing that will stop ESPN this year... Im not flaming ESPN at all.. Because this year.. I heard everybody say that the gameplay is great. OF course there was somethings that people didnt like but for the most part... The game was as solid as ever...

IF i would have gotten ESPN before NCAA.. I would be Happy to be in ESPN league, I think... The only reason i posted my thread of leaving the league was over some stuff in MLB.. But i really think i would be right inthe thick of it...

But because NCAA came out.. Playing it for 3 weeks... or 2... I think i might have gotten the slow down affect... you know.. ncaa is pretty slow in game speed so when you'd jump over to ESPN you would feel things were going to fast... The game got played 3 times.. And it wasnt one of those things where your first impression was bad.. It was just the whole feel felt out of wack FOR ME... Just never really wanted to put it in my xbox.... And i really think thats why madden is gettin so many votes this year..

I would have never bought madden if it wasnt for the fact that I wanted the nfl game to feel close to NCAA and that's what happen.... I apologize to the ESPN FAITHFUL

    *points to understand
Im saying there is nothing bad about ESPN, i felt they put out a great game.
And in IMO, the one of the reason's I like madden is because NCAA came out first...
    Thank and please dont flame

Yea, thats probably what it is. People like Madden because it plays the same as NCAA 2005. The only reason I only played NCAA 2 times was because I didn't wanna get screwed up with ESPN.....so I see what your saying, I'm just the opposite though :)

You hit it right on the head. I think there would have been a few more ESPN supporters if they weren't already used to the feel and drive of EA/NCAA.

Either way there seems to be enough football for everyone. The online leagues available via the ESPN website are enough to make me happy.

If you really like football and understand the strategy you're going to prefer espn.

Madden is ok but I lose interest when I call a running play against a nickel D and get sacked by the LB before the Qb hands off. Thats just not realistic.

Your joking me right. I can beat people in that game by just throwing bombs to Harrison and then shoulder charging defenses over with Edgerrin.

Not to mention the whole DT glitch really ruins ESPN.

Pls try that on me? Im using the chiefs too so it should be really easy. While ur at it since Ive played 70 games and NEVER seen a DL glitch why dont you show me that too.

Know what the DT glitch is its morons moving the QB around the second they hike the ball and causing the O-lines blocking to break down.

Why dont a few of you just admit that now that the dump off crutch is gone you dont like espn anymore. :)

ESPN is a fine game, I like it alot... it's just that some of us like Madden better. If EA hadn't come on XBL this season, the ESPN league would already be going here. But as you can see from the voting thread, the large majority of LG members prefer to play in a Madden league. Not that there's anything wrong with ESPN, but the particular community prefers EA football online. Can't we just all leave it at that?

The thing about the DT glitch though, is that you have to manually set your men up to do that. So in that case it shouldn't even be a problem playing against guys here at LG.

Why doesnt that happen... When you got six guys coming in and five guys blocking... and guy hits his slot fast enough... It does happen in the NFL...

THIS IS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE A FLAME WAR... You like your game.. and I like my game.. thats it.. I tried both and to my preference.. I dont really like ESPN... Sheez.. guys.. Why go through this everytime somebody says they like one game are the other...

It's like the guy with an ugly girlfriend... and when he describes her to his buddies, there's always an excuse or a compromise about it.

Well, yeah, she's got a total butter face and thunder thighs, but she has a really nice personality and lets me play Xbox all weekend. Really, trust me.

There is a glitch for the DL in ESPN from what I've read. By using "a certain button" upon snap, you can shoot through the offensive line pretty much everytime.

I didn't say which button it was in order to slow down the spread of it, but trust me, you can read about it almost anywhere ;)
