This thread is what I believe to be the perfect example of what is wrong with LG. TLDR version: 1. Lifetime ban these people. No exceptions 2. This is part of why we can’t get enough quality managers 3. The compensation system is another reason managing is rough 4. This stuff trickles all the way to CHL. You have someone in the highest tier league trying to solicit money or else he will be a cancer and quit. For this league to reach its full potential, these types of people need lifetime bans. No exceptions. Having to deal with people like that is a big reason why people avoid manangement altogether (a big LG problem) That sets off a domino effect and you end up people getting ownership that really shouldn’t be (another big LG problem). You pair THAT issue with the current compensation situation and you either wind up with managers who tolerate the cancerous behavior and therefore enable it or you end up with the guys who punish it and their teams suffer as a result and/or they just fill their team with guys who won’t quit rather than quality. That reduces competition. If you want to go a step further, by not weeding these type of people out, it limits ability for others to move up from lower leagues and the CHL doesn’t act as the developmental league it is envisioned as. (NOTE: Whether the CHL should be treated as a developmental league is whole other convo.
