IDK, sounds like a lot of people are pretty happy with not having to buy a $60 patch. Seriously $60 will go a long way towards a nice vacation abroad.

If 60 dollars goes a long way towards a vacation then you're doing it wrong.

I feel better about the decision than if the league had announced it right after the first footage of the 360 version came out. Having played the early access, the game looks the same but definitely plays differently enough that it should stay fresh until 16 comes out. EA was lazy with the 360 version, but not as much as one would think at first.

The game always feels different when you go from a Legend 3 to a Amateur 1 Card. The game is a little different but by the time EA does what is does every year and tune the f out of it, it will be the exact same game. That being said, the right decision was made, hopefully EA doesn't mess it up with Tuners.

I don't play in your guys' league, so I have no idea how it's ran and how decisions are made, just waiting for LGFA...So please don't crucify me? :]

How is it in the better interest of your league to give people an ultimatum that will inevitably result in the loss of what seems a very large portion of the community for a year? Granted you will pick up new people, it's moronic to think the loss of so many experienced players will go unnoticed. How many top players or managers do you think will be gone now? Would you rather have 500 people who are nice on the sticks, or 1500 who are so ass they make me look like a God? The overall quality will plummet if everyone who says they won't buy it, actually don't.

Someone said earlier 1600 was all it took to run the three leagues...Would you rather have the bare minimum where average AHL players are the norm in the NHL, or a competitive league where people who are in the NHL actually deserve to be there? LGHL's about to look like the VPSA of FIFA for a year it seems with that outlook...

Regardless, not my league, have fun. :]

 

NHL 4 will grow old for people quickly and they will leave. While sure 15 isn't much of a change, the community as a whole will move their and it will be the only place to get new players to join. Seems like a shitty decision but it is what is best for the league overall, while sure it hurts some players the league always needs to choose what is best overall then just certain people. It is much like if LGFA decided to stay on 14 when 15 is around.
