Doesn't premium already allow you to do that? One of the benefits is that you get to use your ad blocker.
If it does then I havent found it yet. Still have ads. If this is already a thing, would LOVE for someone to show me where that's at. Id be forever grateful
always thought this was something that the site offered. its actually an extension for the browser that only works with the account upgrades i guess. Was unaware of this until just now. Thanks for pointing this out @LHSbrad35 just google "adblock" for your browser and install the extension.
I have tried several times and does not work...then you go with different browsers and then it gets real fun.
not a perfect science, but it does work for now.
And like I said, it does not work.
An idea that would be frowned upon, but makes sense is were always about developing our Management teams especially in the C where it can make or break a player from ever being looked at based off the team they were on, especially new players. The problem with management is the development. I know the idea of not managing with your buddies is not appealing, but why don't we do 3 different signup categories, Owner, GM, AGM. Instead of picking your own management, bogs and chl commissioner decide based off of who qualifies(qualifications unspecified right now), they would match up inexperienced managers with solid ones or ones that would help create successful teams, giving more knowledge spread out through the league, great development of what it takes to manage in the league, better team results with better competitive teams, and takes away OP teams and implements League knowledge of what players are out there, might even open up deeper scouting too.
I think it would teach management to have to communicate with each other for better results, also if Owners elect to take a 2 season deal, they have a chance to become an AHL GM or Owner. GMs and AGMs would go back into the pool for management, and based off of those two seasons could depict if they are offered management in the A or not. In the A, if there are struggling managers and owners(or the N), they can be swapped down to the c as an owner or a player, but for NHL players, can only take a 1 s contract and are not eligible for management if they do not own the first year down. If in the A, If they do not own they are allowed a 2s contract, but if they are called up at any time that season, they will be switched to a 1 season contract for both AHL and CHL
LG is something people do for fun, it is not the number one priority in anyone's live so it is a must that owners get to pick their management. You work hard during the day so usually you wanna pick management partners that you get along with. Owning is a major commitment for what is just a hobby, so they should get to pick who they'll work with for atleast the next 8 weeks.
The OP teams' managers are not a subterranean race of super humans with super powers, they either work hard or smart or both. The good teams are good because they go above and beyond to find the new players because that's how you build a strong team. You can have a few solid well known guys but where you really get ahead of other teams is by bringing in some new talent into LG. You don't even need to have connections if you're succesful enough at bringing in new players.
During scouting season, you can tell which team is gonna be good and which team is gonna be bad, just by looking at who's in their discord. If they have a bunch of average players and most of them are well-known, that team is gonna be bad. The good teams usually have a bunch of dudes you've never seen before. The bad team is wasting their time looking at well known commodities, while the good team is widening their knowledge of the draft list.
Players make or break their own luck.
Look at those season 8 stats, but guess what, if you just keep doing your thing and be patient, things actually work out and you go where your level of play dictates you should. I made the AHL and the NHL even after that fiasco of a year. You make your own destiny.
No fighting attempts off the draw. Weather it’s been proven or not there is a clearly visible boost you get off doing it.
Have a good night pa.
Yea but why would so many people
Do it? People make themselves a girl on purpose because there is no fighting risk but solely to use as a way to rush the dot
Add teams like the Newfoundland Growlers,Maine Mariners to the ECHL division for PSN.
I think it would be great to add a few more teams in the C if possible. LG is growing significantly and there are so many quality players that are sitting on tc because there is just no room for them. If not more teams, at least have some more games, tournaments, something that the tc guys could participate more in. As a manager, it’s tough sometimes explaining to these tc’s that they can’t actually play unless I have a guy that doesn’t show up. Adding 4 more teams would basically only take one tc away from each team. Any owner can deal having 1 less tc on their team than normal.
Or you could add a “TC” game at maybe 1030 on Monday where teams tc players play against other teams tc, in your division and have the schedule rotate within that division as well. These won’t count towards the teams record but it will count for the players themselves
Is there a way we could make AHL playoffs work the same as NHL with top 3 each division and 2 wildcards instead of the top 4 it is now?
Think it would make sure that best teams get in instead of stronger division being punished
Round 1 should be the 5 game series in the LGCHL playoffs. A lot of great series and matchups are being robbed in Round 5. If you make it to Round 5 there’s no reason it shouldn’t be a 7 game series. All teams have earned the right of a 7 game series.
Round 1&2 could be combined in the same week to fit the season timeline.
