LG Pro Series Season 6 Official Rules Thread

True one of the cons i said is that but i still feel like the pros outweigh it, but maybe we could make the scheduled games worth more points or put a limit on games played per week or something of that nature. It would be more complicated but may get a few more teams in which would be ideal in my opinion and get more games which i would also enjoy, but like i said were cool either way. It just seems like everyones on one side or the other and no one is willing to compromise or offer a solution, when I'm sure we can come up with something thats beneficial for everyone

 

If you limit games played the active teams wont be able to play as much leading to teams not being able to get games. Even with multiple teams hitting 100+ games there were weeknights where teams couldnt find games for over an hour.

 

yeah i don't want to do that it was just a possible solution for his concern. Maybe set it at days of the week or something but like i said the other suggestion i offered is the one i like the most with the old way mixed in with one or two series of the week or even the old way with scheduled series against everyone once throughout the season, that way if people can't make it and have to forfeit or cancel it, it doesn't really matter and appeases both crowds

 

I appreciate the actual attempt at constructive feedback, personally I dont want to appease the masses, I want to run a tournament that can actually be looked at as competitive. Most people will still play, as far as I can tell, they just felt like the old system allowed them to have more fun. I fully grasp that as a concept, as a player having less responsibility is more fun, being able to play whenever you want in 'competitive' games is more fun, but when you're actively sacrificing the competitive aspect of the regular season for fun I dont believe its worth it.

@NugeTV can we get team names in the standings? Would be cool. Remember having it for the 1st and 2nd one.

 

Can we get all the teams in the standings?

 

In the past this was fixed once every team played a game, not sure what causes this though.

If @Tris10 can do it I'd love to see the actual team names in the standings, although theres one team that hasnt even picked a name yet @ii GL0BAL ii

Just a bump/edit that is something we need to do going forwards.

OTLs were supposed to award 0 points but the system is built to award 1, so any losses should be entered as regulation losses. Tie Breaks will now be decided by head to head, followed by goal differential if head to head doesnt solve the tie breaks.

I think we should implement some strict rules regarding conduct since some people can't seem to control their temper over a video game in February. It's unfortunate that children have to resort to name-calling, but unfortunately it's not surprising.
