I said cop out but it's both in reality, it takes skill to time it right every time but it's way too unrealistic wraps from literally behind the net and sticks going through posts shouldnt happen
Mehh. Sometimes going from one post to another is way too slow. I hug the post and trust my dmen and center but sometimes the wraps are way too fast compared to the slow post to post
you dont need to hug the post you can just slid over and kick it with your skate if your in your crease sometimes when you hug the post it glitches in or your guy cant hug post in time
I would like to see EA at least make post to post moves quicker and more realistic to what a real life goalie can do. Then the wrap skill would be valid.
lets be real here, the wrap goal is buggy in this game. sure goalies can stop it by hugging the post. but there are many times that it looks like the guy doesn't even wrap his stick all the way around the net and still tucks it in and it looks like it goes through the base of the net. it really needs to be looked at in more detail from EA.
I agree Sy. Some shots look like they come from behind the net, for sure. As a goalie, I just want to see the post hug addressed as well. Yahn, you are absolutely correct. If the D men are in position with opposition around the back of the net, they should be on position to stop the wrap most times.
Not always. Some builds get wrecked when they try the wraparound yet still score at the same time because their arms can basically twist from behind the net lol.
I'm a goalie and all I can say is this is the world we play in. I'm aware of it, I know it's coming I stop it. Sometimrs I don't but I always know when it's coming . If your team was down a goal with a min left your congratulating him regardless. End of story.
Honestly a option should be doesn't matter; because if your defense is playing d and your Fwds are back checking no wraps should ever go in so wrap goals are rarely goalies fault unless they just don't move. Majority of the time wrap goals go in because defense or Fwds(don't backcheck) to cover it.
