what it do LG crew, westie's back at it again with his awful LG media posts. now this week we have the owner's thoughts and opinions on the results that gave some teams some excitement, others? well. significant roster changes for sure. let's get into it because frankly i'm fed up with these guys already, making me lose games n shit.. come on stop making it hard for me..

Coming out of week 1, a few teams have come out above the rest, atleast for now. The Owners and GMs are hard at work to bring the best talent to their rosters, especially after a few surprises after people had made their own assumptions on who is a good and bad team.

I have managed to get a chance to speak to each team's owner and get their thoughts on the first week, any players they'd like to give some props for their performance(s), and any surprises they saw from other teams after coming out vs them in week 1.

    Miami Heat:

    Record - 5-1

@Aptai and his Heat squad came out strong in week 1, coming together with a 5-1 week, pulling a big upset vs the Pistons, a win vs the Celtics and a close victory vs the Knicks. For some reason they've managed to have an issue with the score vs the Raptors? Maybe their players are misinformed about the league rules.. I don't know.

Coming out of week 1, Aptai expressed his appreciation for Ayztraks and Brvzy on their stellar work in the pick and roll game, TalTheMarvelous and Flems on their great shooting and Brandbai for his great on ball defense with just 7 of his 23 defensive badges!

He went on to say that he was prepared to back Tricky as the dubbed "best 500k player in the league", and he definitely backed up that claim with great performances. He also thanked Kasra for his lockerroom presence and being a great AGM. He also went on to appreciate Volt and Bills for offering their experience and knowledge to the rest of the line that are new to the LGBA. Great stuff guys!

After being asked about his opinions on any surprises coming out of week 1, he mentioned zOptions for his great play on the Cleveland Cavaliers, complimenting Viz for his center game and providing a tough matchup, and the rest of that supporting cast, they gave them their only loss so far this season.

Aptai also mentioned that he was surprised about the Washington Wizards having a rough start to the season, coming out of the blocks 2-4. He was optimistic that Jiggy and his squad will turn it around coming into week 2, and wouldn't be surprised if they become contenders later into the season, but definitely showed some concern for their hiccups and tough start to Season 25.

He's enjoying the league so far and is having a great time owning, which is great to see, we've had some guys have a terrible owning stint and never come back, but Aptai is proving that he's out here to win, and win he has. Let's see his squad in week 2 provide even more of a threat, a 5-1 start is a great beginning.

    Boston Celtics:

    Record 4-2

@l SnypE l and his Celtics had a stellar start in Season 25 after he picked up owner less than 24 hours before bidding. He put together a solid squad and came out 4-2 after some good wins against the Pelicans and Pistons, including two dubs vs the Knicks and a destruction of the Wizards. It's looking sunny up in Boston, but will it last with Snype's temper? Time will tell.

He's expecting to come out stronger into week 2, he's appreciative for his whole squad being on the same page and being supportive of one another, even through losses. The lockerroom presence is great within the team and he's looking forward to working with them for the season. Their efforts combined produced a 4-2 week and he's commending all of them for their hard work to give him the best chance this season.

Snype is concerned for the Pelicans struggling more than they should have, as their team on paper looked to be one of the strongest in the league, but is hopeful as Venom's squads usually start out slow, but pickup pace fast and be seriously strong towards the backend of the season and into the playoffs.

He also mentioned that he was surprised at the great performances that the Heat showed and their fast start this season. He's looking forward to seeing how they approach future weeks as teams will attempt to knock them off the top spot.

For Snype to come out only 4-2 is a disgrace. As someone that holds himself to high standards, i'm sure he's gonna come out and make people pay for even making him take 2 Ls, but we've all seen him fall and lose games in the past, he's just got to prove his squad has the same mentality has he does. week 2 is gonna be scary for sure from these guys.

    Cleveland Cavaliers

    Record - 4-2

@SpotJr25 and his new Cavs squad have come out prepared to put on a show, after a great 4-2 week, taking down the Heat in their final game of the week to stop the 6-0 push, a big win over Toronto beating their 1st line with their 2nd line, and some good wins over the Pelicans and Wizards.

Spot was ecstatic with their week 1 finish, expressing that an above .500 record is a seriously good result for them and he can't thank everyone on his roster enough for the effort they've put in so far. He's not satisfied for sure though.

He didn't have many complaints at all, only that they're going to work on the little things that will ensure that they have the best chance to pull an even better week next week. I'm hoping that he'll keep to his word and make them even better with good lockerroom presence as well.

His personal surprise team of the week was the Heat, he was most impressed by their play immediately out of the gates, making Spot's squad work even harder for a positive record in week 1. He's hopeful that in the next matchup, the better team will win and that there's going to be an even more exciting game next time.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Cavs progress, they've got a young squad with some underrated players that have ran together for a long time, even in other leagues. As much as you can hate on them, underestimate their play and you'll take a loss, and then always have to hold that fat L on your record.

    Detroit Pistons

    Record - 3-3

@im just a squid is back again, and his squad managed an even 3-3 week, coming in to make the Cavs and Lakers take an extra loss in the opening week, but also taking a close win vs the Raptors, however the three losses they took this week were big blowout losses. Against the Pelicans, they struggled hard, going down by nearly 40 by the last buzzer sounding.

He expressed that his squad aimed for atleast a 3-3 week as the floor to aim for, and his squad nailed it, even if it's not what you'd want from every single week. With some tough matchups, they managed a good record to come out with and might be able to cause some more upsets in week 2 if he follows suit.

He commended pr0fit for his great scoring and efficiency this week, averaging 20 ppg and shooting 66% from the three point line. A good way to bring some fire power to the offense and ensure that your team gets some numbers in the wins column before you start panicking.

He also praised TH4 x W4LL for his amazing ability and that when he wants to, he can by far be the best player in the league, but he needs to really take it serious and put in the effort to see it become a reality, also stating that he'd be the go to player if required.

On what team he was most surprised by, he mentioned that the Heat looked average on paper, but on the hardwood, they came out strong and really made other teams panic and scramble to find a way to stop them. He also mentioned that he was disappointed in the Pelicans in week 1, noting that on paper they were looking to be great, but came out pretty average and that it was unexpected of them to perform so poorly, even against weaker teams, but we'll have to see in the future if they'll improve or have to make drastic decisions.

The Pistons are looking strong, especially after people seem to just let squid do his own thing and ignore his lineups, but this season has been a huge jump and hopefully he'll make them fear him this season, as well as put some 1st lines out to stop them from climbing the standings.

    Los Angeles Lakers

    Record - 3-3

@Zero Choice and his Lakers are back again, coming out with a decent 3-3 record, picking up some close wins vs the Celtics, Sixers and the Knicks. They almost finished out with a even better record but suffered some unfortunate losses to result in a 3-3 week.

He said that his MVP of the week on his roster was Munnie, giving him some top skills at PG to get 2 big wins vs the Celtics and the Sixers. His contributions were greatly appreciated and gave some well needed production for their squad.

He praised Demon Talks for his great performance vs them and his line's 2nd half defense that shut down the laker's offense. He helped lead the Pelicans to the W over the Lakers with his efforts.

Zero also praised the Heat for their 5-1 record this week, coming out to be the best team in the league and beating all expectations. Hopefully they'll keep up the solid work, otherwise their strong start might slip down into the lower seeding for the playoffs if they're not careful. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

The Lakers might just be a squad of lads who play rec and complain and bitch to each other a lot, with some other guys grabbed through bidding, but don't give them any space at all, they're gonna be deadly once they get rolling, especially with stars like Tim who can dunk your head at one end, and swat your shot to the 5th row at the other. Don't mess with the Newfie. He's out for that DPOY trophy this time.

    New Orleans Pelicans

    Record - 3-3

@xVenom OF and his Pelicans are back for S25, and a 3-3 record isn't the worst start. It's certainly better than their S23 week 1, but not as great as they should have been. They're wildly considered one of the favourites to win it all, but a 3-3 start doesn't show that they're the dominant squad that we expected of them. Maybe it'll take them a week or two to start being the squad we thought of when they were put together.

Venom expressed that week 1 definitely isn't a record he's content with, and that next week his squad is going to come out firing, especially as week 2 is a make or break week for any teams that aren't in the top to end up slipping behind and potentially falling out of contention already.

His top picks for his MVPs on his rosters are Savage and Comeup, for their near triple double and 50 point performance respectively. Those contributions have given them some much needed production after a rough start. but Savage is an old man now, he's gotta have someone there to baby sit him while he has to have his man diaper changed.. someone's gotta step up and do the dirty work.. literally.. but he's gonna be there for defense, every single time. Spurs gang forever. Fuck that nuggets team

Comeup is gonna be deadly if you don't adapt to him, especially if he gets hot, don't be afraid of the guy though, he's not gonna talk trash in the chat.. not just yet..

The team that surprised him the most was the Cavs, especially after their great week and Rainy providing some great production, making the offense look easy and having defenses adjust to stop him. I hope that they continue with that level of consistency, because a few slip ups is all it takes to fall down fast.

He's young, and definitely the fastest to pull the trigger on any shake ups of his roster, but when Venom wants something, he goes and works for it, be careful when you're in his path..

    New York Knicks

    Record - 2-4

@FREE MEL0 is back for S25 with his trusty knicks, coming out with a 2-4 week after a few teams underestimated them, with $9,500,000 in cap space, they have a big amount of space to call up any underrated TCs or make any adjustments necessary, which is always good to have. It's also his first time at point guard, which isn't the easiest thing the world, so huge props to him for coming out here with something new for 2K21.

However, the games they played this week were disappointing. None of their wins were huge blowouts, and their losses were down to a lot of turnovers and mistakes, maybe the squad is just getting their feet wet and are a little rusty, time will tell for sure. But I'm hopeful that their two wins vs the Wizards and Raptors will lead them to make a better push next week, especially as they have some guys that can step up when they want to.

After speaking with Melo, he thinks they're playing okay, started a little slow but hope that they can pick up the pace this upcoming week. Outside of the blowout loss vs the Sixers, he felt that there were just mistakes to clean up and they would be able to bring some more Ws back to NY. Always look at the positives guys!

He gave some props to Loose for being there with him on the court, especially as he says he felt a lot more comfortable and confident whenever he was there ready to be the scorer, putting up some great production at the SF position. Trying something new at PG is always hard if you have some guys that aren't prepared to step up when needed, and Loose was there to help bring one of their two Ws in week 1.

He also gave huge props to the Heat, mentioning that looking at their roster before the season started, he wasn't expecting them to be anywhere near as dominant as Rick's past Heat teams, but looked a lot tougher than he ever imagined, with them going 5-1 in week 1. Huge props to those guys for sure.

Melo is still ironing out his PG game, and has some great supporting cast around him that are prepared, i'm excited to see how they come out in week 2, especially after some practice and roster moves.

    Philadelphia 76ers

    Record - 2-4

@TheRealProcess has jumped up to first time ownership after being GM for the finalist GB squad.. which got decimated in a reverse sweep by Rick's Israel last season.. the nightmares are still there for me guys, can someone send help?? Anyway, he's put together a great squad, starring several champions, a Finals MVP, top defensive players and even some underrated talent that people let him pickup cheap. Even with all this talent, his line began an awful 0-3 start on Wednesday, falling down to the Heat, Lakers and Pelicans, but looked like the second line was going to be their saviour as they picked up two huge wins vs the Knicks and putting an extra loss in the Ls column for the Cavs, but fell short vs the Raptors after a back and forth game that almost looked like it was going to go to OT.

After speaking with Process, he's optimistic about the upcoming weeks, especially as it almost looks like a repeat of the GB line last season, a rough first week, and then a very scary 5-1 the following week, but time will tell if history repeats itself. He's now without Flems and running Dats, so he might have to provide more of an offensive load than previously thought, but he's also trusting in all of his guys, he knows what they are capable of and wants them to succeed.

He mentioned Khorey and USF Kenan on how great they have worked together so far, putting together a 2-1 start, and ensuring that the Sixers don't fall out of contention, and gave some solid offense on the pick and roll. He also wanted to give some props to Sell Me Fo for his first 3 competitive games in LG, and his production for his first time in competitive 2K, we all know our first time wasn't the easiest, and wasn't the nicest time either..

He shouted out the Heat for their surprising 5-1 result this past week, showing off their chemistry and proving that they can be a good successor to the now retired Rick. Maybe the Heat legacy hasn't fallen off and will instead continue to thrive forever.

The Sixers are looking like a strong squad that needs time and practice to get the most out of their players, but with some extra work put in during the time off, they can definitely be contenders again. We'll have to find out week 2 if they've got it down, or may need some major changes to clinch a playoff spot.

    Toronto Raptors

    Record - 2-4

@Dangs92 stepped down from BoG just to pickup the last owner spot as the Raptors, and to be honest, we all expected better from a squad that had Raynor on it. A 2-4 start definitely isn't the worst beginning to a regular season, but with some of the hype around the guys he picked up, they definitely didn't look like themselves. A few losses to the Pistons, Cavs and Knicks definitely didn't help, as well as the fuck fest which was the Heat - Raptors game. I'm sure they've learned from it now though, as the two wins vs the Sixers and Wizards show some upsides to turning up to a Raptors game.. i dont know anything else to be excited about since Murked is on the team.. who wants to go to a game he's at??

Dangs is definitely looking at the positive side of things, claiming that Murked and himself are to blame for the 1-2 first line, but wanted to give some props to his second line since they played well all week and helped significantly.

He wants to give some hype to his second line PG OIAMGREAT and his duo center Timmy for playing unreal and taking down the Sixers in a tough game that eventually saw them take the victory to help keep them above the Wizards. Great stuff lads, you made me take an L and i'm looking for my personal revenge, post scorer westie is on the prowl

As for his surprises from other teams, his only props is to Viktomize for his 38 on them. Honestly? Vik deserves it. As much as he screams "god im so shit" whenever he has a bad game vs randoms in rec, he can definitely score, definitely shoot the lights out and is probably the most well known sharp in LG. Shame he sometimes holds himself back sometimes and talks down to himself, but I agree with Dangs here, he's definitely a gross player and requires a double or even triple team when he's hot. digusting player

The raptors made some moves to pickup Schizostone and Demon Talks for Raynor, which is a huge move since replacing a top lock in Raynor with an underperforming Schizostone might come back to bite them in their Canadian ass, but Demon talks definitely doesn't just talk, as he puts up 14 ppg with 14 apg!! He accounts for atleast 52 points a game!! that's a bloody good passer fam, even I can tell you that and I grew up watching England throw away games by passing too much. I want to see these guys thrive week 2, but I'm afraid of Dangs pulling the trigger too early and blowing up the whole team if it goes wrong even once. Sometimes it takes time mate.. patience..

    Washington Wizards

    Record - 2-4

@l Get Jiggy took ownership and the Wizards franchise for season 25, and came out picking up some solid stars and role players to allow him to thrive at PG, giving them great offense, but also ensuring that their second line has enough firepower to win games too. A 2-4 start isn't awful, especially as they have two great point guards, some good secondary ball handlers and some great defenders and frontcourts to give them the edge in close games, but surely they'll find their footing with a few games under their belt now.

Taking two wins vs the Lakers and Pelicans is huge, that helps them cement themselves as a squad that can't be mocked just for winning in garbage time, but the four losses vs the Knicks, Raptors, Cavs and Celtics is a hard pill to swallow. Especially as only one game was close. I'm expecting these guys to come out hard week 2 and put on a show.

After speaking with Jiggy, he mentioned that he's loving the roster so far, but a couple of moves and they're going to be great, you can't count them out just because week 1 they haven't looked dominant. That's exactly the mentality a good owner needs, but a great owner will make those moves and make them an immediate threat, let's see week 2 if he holds his word.

He gave huge props to oCurry MVP for his outstanding performances this week, and he can't wait for him to blossom in the LGBA, many people let him slip under the radar, but he's put up a great week, stats of 18 ppg and 9.3 apg is a great start to your career, and I can't wait either to see if he can improve even further with experience.

He also gave massive props to Rainy for his insane production on offense in week 1. He's out here to prove Savage that he's just an old man complaining and doing old man things, but Rainy didn't wait for him to spite his stats week 1 to prove him wrong, he came out of the blocks fast and put up 45 ppg in week 1, with his only loss to the Sixers (I GOTCHU BITCH). It's almost like a fairy tale but with defenses able to adjust to force him to find his A button, will he struggle in the upcoming weeks after they've had time to study the film and come out with a better gameplan?

I'm excited for the Wizards this season, especially as Jiggy has grabbed some great lockerroom guys in Juice and BGN Career, but you'll need a lot of firepower to make it work this season, especially through the big jump in shooting consistency this year. I'm hoping to see a jump week 2, maybe even a dominant showing, we'll have to wait anxiously.

    Power Rankings:

I guess since no one has done them, it's my job now.. stupid lazy mfers.. Nah i'm just playing, i love all of them, but im just a biased mf so i'll just list em and hope you dont complain.

    2. Cleveland Cavaliers
    3. New Orleans Pelicans
    4. Boston Celtics

    8. New York Knicks

Best of luck week 2 lads, i'm gonna be back for more interviews, maybe with the players of the week next time, but to be honest, y'all too mean to me to deserve this shit, wheres my love and why u tryna ban the post scorer? i'm just here to love the game and you're tryna remove me like i'm a piece of shit. fuck you.

TH4 X W4LL IS THE BEST AND I LOVE HIM.
