Thanks for the kind words brotha .. glad to be back
@SweetLou9208 be nice to me plz I’m just a senddown
Lou did @DopeSwagYOLO dirty
It was way longer than my rookie contract, lost my patience. Great job on the writeup Louis
My 4-21 season is the true me. I just get carried on PSN
The dedication is actually crazy , good shit
I guess I should say rookie SZN. You’re DP contract yes we’re very similar to Dames. Nice follow up in your sophomore SZN but you were on of the newer draft Fwds who has very hyped
donnybrah - $3,000,000
@donnybrah - Donny is one of those toxic dudes who always seems to get into it with his OWN teammates. He is a good player but expects way too much from the random people he plays with. He is back on D where he has been playing esports and doing really well. He is also on a good team and in a good situation so he has a chance to have a really good szn if he can be on good behavior
Well, @SweetLou9208, the issue is I like to see my teammates actually provide some sort of positive performance to the team. You get pretty spoiled playing on teams that win the Cup (Gwan, Gil, Los, and the gang S28 and then Dings, Ferra, Gil, an absolutely insane D core, 4th, Stoner, Vcek, Lyons, etc) that playing on teams that just don't know what the fuck they're doing feels like a chore. I just feel like management is a big part of it and I've dealt with some very bad management groups (Venom, Jay, Vancouver last season, Nxgi). Kinda makes you not want to play, especially knowing they don't know how to scout talent and end up with absolute morons on the roster and you know you have no shot to even make the playoffs. Ask guys like @Dingssss or @Gwan, in reality there's not really any toxicity, just a desire to win if I'm gonna spend my time playing LG games
Holy my ego just keeps inflating
Nothing to see here.
Nice write up
Yeah, I had a lot of personal shit go on in the summer so I couldn’t really play that much but I don’t think I’ve done too bad. On pace for close to 20 wins in my rookie season and like 75 points too... switched to goalie cuz this bidding would’ve been a nightmare on forward.
oh my god what a fantastic write up. good stuff
elite writeup. keep em comin
This is incredible.
Then become a manager . . . And don’t give the in not worth the free contract excuse. Many non 6M+ players have been great managers and won cups or presidents trophies
If you don’t want to be a manager and end up on a bot too 5 team, you can just be a good teammate and not contribute to making things worse for everyone. It’s a fairly simple concept. When one guy is a dick, the rest don’t want to play with him or get annoyed with him being a sick and stop showing or Trying. Being toxic spreads throughout a locker room, which is why most teams trade those guys ASAP and unfortunately is why most people become toxic to get out of there, but there’s way more bad teams than good
On top of that managers talk and we know who is toxic from the mgmt chat and all these guys want traded but no one wants them. Most of the top teams are set or don’t want to bring someone in who’s gonna cause problems. I’m glad you had success in 2 teams as a cup winner your first couple szns and I’m sure you did well on the third line where all you gotta do is not lose by a lot, beat other thirds and steal games once or twice. If you wanna take that next step or think you’re better than a 3rd liner talent wise, then become a better teammate and you’ll get on better teams and more people will want you or maybe you’ll make some friends to consistently play with or even help that not top team, become a top team
Great write up this must have taken quite a while. Yeah didn't have a great first full NHL season as I got moved to 3 bottom teams and a team that basically gave up in the last 3-4 weeks but stuck it out.
Amazing write up, Lou. I can't imagine how long it must've taken to piece this together lol
