Each Season I have been collecting stats to formulate each teams Season rating, These Season Ratings are averaged to get a Franchise Rating. The Formula for Season Ratings =PTS-(L*2)+(GD/4.25)+((PW*10)-20) (The result is rounded to 2 decimals) PTS: Points L: Losses GD: Goal Differential PW: Playoff Wins Previous Threads S12 https://www.leaguegaming.com/forums/index.php?threads/the-franchise-report.309439/ S13 https://www.leaguegaming.com/forums...-ratings-updated-for-s13.310203/#post-2046813 Fancy Charts Stats I also ended up collecting a lot of information as i had to enter this all by hand which means i was easily able to enter in Franchise Totals. PW: Playoff Wins, GP: Games Played, W%: % of games Won, L%: % of games lost in regulation, OTL%: % of games lost in Overtime, TL%: % of games Lost, GFPG: Goals For Per Game, GAPG: Goals against per Game. Rating: Franchise Rating (avg of all Season Rating) Note: For some reason a couple of Games during the first few seasons of the PSN league weren't played hence why some times (other than expansion teams) have less games played. Worst and Best Teams by Franchise Ratings Best 1. Seattle Kraken (167.12) Prev [Unranked] Seattle has had a competitive team each season since the s12 Expansion, Each Team has atleast won 7 playoff games and 44 Regular Season games. The Have the Highest Winning% and Lowest Losing% out of any other franchise in the league. Will Seattle Keep getting solid owners or will fall next season who knows. 2. Colorado Avalanche (93.22) Prev [Unchanged] The Real #1 Franchise, With the Recent win by the S14 Team, Colorado ties the Chicago Blackhawks for most the cups at 3, Unlike Chicago no matter who has managed the team Colorado hasn't had a season where they have lost more then they won since Season 2, and they haven't had season with less then 40 wins since Season 1. Colorado has the best Goal Difference (778+), the most Goals For (3843), Most Wins (675) and the 2nd most Playoff wins behind Buffalo. If Colorado's Ownership stays the same you could call a Dynasty. 3. Buffalo Sabres (72.62) Prev [#1] The Sabres Continue to fall as for the 3rd straight season they are in the negatives for a season rating, The "Dynasty" of old is gone of course this isn't the real NHL and Ownership of a team usually changes ever few seasons, so the franchise could bounce back but as of now they resemble the real life sabres. At least Buffalo still has the most playoff wins out of any team. 4. New Jersey Devils (62.63) Prev [Unchanged] New Jersey is usually either really good or really bad, This season however they were bad but not that bad. A slight improvement over last season. 5. Dallas Stars (59.92) Prev [#3] For 13 straight seasons Dallas never really had a bad season, The S14 Dallas Stars changed everything as they had a horrible season and it has tanked the Franchise Rating for Dallas, A season ago they had the highest Goals for out of all franchises now they are 2nd to the Avalanche. Dallas came close to not making this top 5 list as Washington (59.51) is right behind Dallas. Worst 1. Philadelphia Flyers (-51.06) Prev [Unchanged] Philadelphia had an alright 14th season it doesn't help that they sucked for 11 seasons. I could on about how much they've sucked but the last two threads have done that for me. I'll just leave it at this, Only non-expansion team to not have 3000 goals for already and -930 GD Yikes. 2. Detroit Red Wings (-16.22) Prev [Unchanged] Is this team cursed? Detroit either sucks Mega-ass/misses the playoffs or when The Red Wings have a really solid team they choke like they are the 2019 Tampa Bay Lightning. 3 Playoff wins in 14 seasons is pathetic. How long till The Red wings win a Playoff Series, Hell how long until they at least win 2 playoff games in one season? 3. Winnipeg Jets (-11.43) Prev [#4] The Winnipeg Jets have been very unremarkable not to bad and not that good, S11 and S13 are a note-able exception, however this season was back to the ordinary. Not a bad team but below 500 without Overtime Losses like they have been for most of their existence. 4. Arizona Coyote (-9.92) Prev [#3] To escape this list Arizona Would have needed another Cup Win to balance out the 2 truly horrible seasons they had back when the PSN league started. 5. Ottawa Senators (-8.39) Prev [Unchanged] Only team on this list with more Regulation wins then Regulation Losses. That's gotta count for something. Worst and Best Seasons by Season Rating Congratulations S14 Calgary Flames, you guys are officially the 4th worst team to ever play in the PSN league. Best 1. S2 Buffalo Sabres: 279 2. S7 Colorado Avalanche: 275.47 3. S6 Chicago Blackhawks: 254.47 4. S3 Chicago Blackhawks: 253.06 5. S9 Buffalo Sabres: 244.71 6. S1 Tampa Bay Lightning: 237.94 7. S8 Colorado Avalanche: 237.18 8. S5 Columbus Blue Jackets: 229.59 9. S5 Dallas Stars: 229.29 10. S10 Calgary Flames: 223.76 Worst 1. S1 Arizona Coyotes: -174.24 2. S6 Edmonton Oilers: -172.65 3. S2 Arizona Coyotes: -171.29 4.
