LGHL (PSN) All-Star Tournament Season 4

NHL (PSN) ALL STAR TOURNAMENT

THE TEAMS

· 4 teams created to represent the 4 divisions
· Owners to pick players from their team to be considered in the voting for the roster up to:
o 3 forwards
o 2 defensemen
o 1 Goalie

VOTING
· Broken down by division and position
· Players can cast :
- 9 forward votes (per division)
- 6 defenseman votes (per division)
- 3 goalie votes (per division)
· All 4 squads are made up of 18 players
o 9 forwards
o 6 defensemen
o 3 Goalies

BASIC RULES
· This is a round robin series to determine the final 2
o Each team plays the other 3 teams
· All players MUST play one of the first 3 games
o This gives all of the All Stars a chance to play in a game
· Top two teams play a 3 game series to determine the tournament winner
· After the round robin games, rankings are decided by team points. Tiebreakers are:
1. Most Wins
2. Least losses
3. Most goals for
4. Least goals against

If you cannot make these games, please let us know so that the Captain can schedule an ECU from his/her roster

After the voting has taken place, the top voted player for each division will be notified. Next Friday, March 10th, 2017, The rest of the players that were in the top 9,6,3 of highest vote totals in each division at their respective position groups, will be entered into a draft. The 4 vote winners for each division will participate in a draft to fill out their All-Star rosters. The only stipulation for the draft is that you can only draft 9 forwards, 6 defensemen, and 3 goalies. We will decide this week whether this will be the Club Challenge or Pin systen for games. i just have to get a couple answers on that first.

The voting polls will open tonight March 2nd, as soon as I finish making them and all links will be added here to be able to find them all and keep them organized.

Allstar games. Lol. Good joke this was.

 

Sad to see this didnt happen. @vhigh you did a great job providing an outlet on the NHL side. Its too bad you could not get enough cooperation to have these games played. We struggled on the AHL side too but did get the games off.

 

Should just give people the awards for being all stars imho.

 

This was a very sad joke because we put a lot of work into this and the players refused to be available for 1 30 min game.... not my fault

 

Why? What allstars? The games weren't played....

 

People were still voted in. Should get a medal for being voted in I guess

 

Actually I believe the rule I'm going to institute in the AHL next season is if you don't play in at least one All-Star game you get no recognition. Players have to start acting mature about these efforts being put in or you get nothing. So many other video game leagues and players treat their efforts so professionally that they can wind up having tournaments being nationally televised. We think people should be rewarded even though they can't show up for one damn game??? Absolutely unacceptable

You're talking as if all the players weren't ready and willing to play. Yeah some killed it. But a lot of us were never even contacted about it. The people who were Captains were asked to do work organizing and didn't. But not all players weren't willing to play.
