Hello, there's been a void in media since Goonderk disappeared. As a proud community member I volunteered as tribute to follow in his foot steps. These rankings are going to be based on both the standings, and the last 10 games from each respective team. It's nothing crazy so don't expect every team's analysis to be too accurate. I haven't been paying too much attention so I'm kind of winging it.

    1. :team74: Carolina Hurricanes (8-1-1)

    Hit:
Carolina is BUZZING. That's all that needs to be said. Their only loss this week was in a nail biter to a quality Anaheim line.

Miss: If there's anything "negative" to say it would be that they still trail New Jersey by 5 points in the standings. Does it matter? nope. Not like first round matchups matter for this team anyways. Let's be honest.

    2. :team17: Vancouver Canucks (9-1)

    Hit:
The Canucks are on an 8 game winning streak, lead by their undefeated west line. Seems like this team isn't relying on them either. The rest of the team still goes 5-1.

Miss: West Line still hasn't lost. :(

    3. :team7: New Jersey Devils (5-3-2)

    Hit:
New Jersey is still holding on to 1st place in the league

Miss: Twist line goes 0-2-1 this week, and Carolina seems to be closing the gap for first place in the division. Again, does it really matter though?

    4. :team21: Tampa Bay Lightning (4-4-2)

    Hit:
Despite two mediocre weeks, Tampa hasn't lost too much ground in the standings. Tendy has proven to be one of the best goalies this season even behind one of the best D cores in the league.

Miss: Blur and Lucas each missed a game this week, and it looks like Blur will be serving another suspension next week. Will any trade go through?

    5. :team15: San Jose Sharks (6-2-2)

    Hit:
The third line if you want to call it that, is still humming and went 3-0 this week. San Jose can beat you with any line against any matchup, and are keeping a steady pace in to playoffs. They are also a ridiculous 16-4-7 in 1 goal games.

Miss: San Jose isn't gaining much separation on Anaheim or Vegas. Both teams are still within 4 points despite a lackluster week from Vegas.

    6. :team14: Washington Capitals (7-3)

    Hit:
The Caps have been a sneaky good team this season. It's hard to find anyone on this team with bad stats. A pleasant Surprise would be the Venom line at 13-4-1 this season. Washington is in a great spot with a 7 point cushion for the 3 spot in the metro. 6 points behind Carolina? I guess anything is possible right?

Miss: Jordo is spotting a 9-7-1 record with a -15, Looks like he's been moving around between lines and hasn't found his stride quite yet. Find him the right situation and this team could surprise some people in playoffs.

    7. :team18: Buffalo Sabres (7-2-1)

    Hit:
Cj's line is one of the best this season. They're 15-3 and doing the heavy lifting.

    Miss:
Take away the top line and buffalo has a record of 16-14-6. The 2nd and third line haven't been bad, but they haven't been that good either. This week the other lines performed, but will it be consistent?

    8. :team31: Anaheim Ducks (6-3-1)

    Hit:
Sharp Riv and Sleemn have been on fire as they stay undefeated as a line.

Miss: Similar to buffalo, the other lines have just been ok. You'd think stiffmeister's line would turn it around at some point, and it looks like Dumba has checked out?

    9. :team1: Toronto Maple Leafs (6-2-2)

    Hit:
Rocket and his 5 ping produced another strong week going 2-0-1 with 20 points.

Miss: Toronto has been losing ground in the standings a little bit, but it's not really their own fault. The wildcard teams in the east have been hot the past 2 weeks and Detroit, Philly, and Ottawa are all within 3 points.

    10. :team28: Arizona Coyotes (4-5-1)

Hit: The YOTES are clinging on to first in the division.

    Miss:
The central is the worst division this season and these Yotes have been slipping in the standings with Winnipeg 2 points away, and Minnesota 4 points behind. The team has struggled as of late and are at risk of dropping all the way down to the 8th seed.

    11. :team10: Detroit Redwings (6-3-1)

    Hit:
After a disappointing week 4 & 5, Detroit has fought back in to the playoff picture. All 3 lines have been respectable and can pick each other up on any given week.

Miss: Detroit has been getting some tough matchups, and look for that to continue in big games against Philly Toronto and Ottawa next week.

    12. :team4: Philadelphia Flyers (7-2-1)

    Hit:
Philly has put together back to back weeks of at least 6 wins. Their depth is coming through as the newly formed Volcom, Poopa, Gerbe line is 5-1.

Miss: Slim and JJr were cooking early, but the last 2 weeks they're 2-4. Look for this line to step it up to close out the season, or else it's an uphill battle.

    13. :team30: Minnesota Wild (7-2-1)

    Hit:
Minnesota is 3 lines deep. Ninety eight line is 8-1 in the last 9.

Miss: Nothing. They've been great since the shakeup to the roster.

    14. :team676: Vegas Golden Knights (3-5-2)

    Hit:
Vegas is safely in the playoffs so one bad week doesn't hurt too bad.

Miss: It's 2 consecutive meh weeks for Vegas... Hopefully they don't settle for a wildcard spot and can make a final push to catch Anaheim or San Jose.

    15. :team391: Winnipeg Jets (4-3-3)

    Hit:
Dan, and Ka2god each built a steady winning line. They should be able to catch Arizona and are 4th as a team in goals. They have the fire power as a team to play with anyone.

Miss: The Anaconda hasn't been living up to his Norris capabilities since joining the peg. Pattelite is Elite... but maybe a Kevin Weekes video is necessary for some inspiration?

    16. :team27: New York Islanders (8-2)

Hit: The islanders have put up 13, and 14 point weeks since the shakeup. They are one point out of playoffs with 64, and seem to be heating up.

Miss: This team is capable across the board however they lack a true first line or defensive pair, it'll be tough to sneak in to playoffs with tough matchups late in the season.
