LGRL Season 3 Playoff Predictions/Analysis Series 1: 3 The Ugly Brothers vs 6 Nobody Loves Random Ugly Brothers: The Ugly brothers are returning from a championship season 2, bringing back Bane dont care at owner, and playoff MVP ded279 at GM. The Bros also pulled off a huge trade to get Dr0c back on their team. The Bros are led statistically by 500k sleeper Jnemesis, with 48 Games played, 48 goals, 33 assists, 44 saves, and 108 shots. Not far behind him are ded, rapala, codex and dr0c. ded has the best record on the team at 28-9, followed closely by Nemesis and Codex Evolution. Codex Evolution was a mid-season random assignment who has stepped into a strong striker role for the team, leading the team with 57 goals in 28 games played. The Ugly Brothers have come back with a strong team that will put up a serious fight with any team in it’s way. Nobody Loves Random: Bossy came back from season 2 to be an owner this season. His GM was Random FN Hero, the source of the team’s name, but he is no longer here. Bossy now runs the team alongside AGM Mantha. Random’s main bidding strategy was to acquire Dr0c and Armoredx InMaTe, 2 strong players from last season’s Ugly Brothers Championship team. Unfortunately a little too much was spent on these 2 players and Random struggled with depth issues throughout the season. Mid way through the season Random made a huge trade with The Ugly Bros, in which they shipped off Dr0c and Mutiny Leone for Ichibani, xMoBxGeTxMoNeYx, Rybs 12, and Nicholas08Chick. This trade helped alleviate bidding errors and gave Random some much needed depth to stay competitive. Random just barely missed the 5th seed by 2 points to Hat Trick Hero’s. The Random are led statistically by Season 2 champ Armoredx InMaTe, with 30 Goals, 14 assists, 40 saves, and 83 shots in 32 Games Played. Late season Assignments Glider and Kyza Riper are arguably the 2 strongest players on Random’s roster, but don’t have the games played to represent that in their statistics. This team has Improved dramatically from the start of the season, but has a very uphill battle in the playoffs. Prediction: Bros in 4. If Glider and Kyza come up big Random may be able to steal a game or 2 from the Bros. 4 Live Action vs 5 Hat Trick Heros Live Action: Led by THEGOONRSPECIAL and K1NG SW1SHA, Live action has come back from the beginning of the season to have a respectable team. LIVE ACTION had less than ideal bidding, landing Hiperay as their only star player. They have been bailed out through random assignments this season, landing Slomo, ItsLawful, and kid comet. LIVE ACTION has a top line that can compete with any top line in the league, but struggles a bit with depth issues. They are unsurprisingly led by Season 1 player Hiperay, with 63 goals, 28 assists, 53 saves, and 150 shots in a whopping 47 games played. Snack Attack has been the surprise player for this team, being 2nd in stats with 47 Games played as well. LIVE ACTION has an overall above average team with a powerful top line, but depth will be this teams downfall. Most of the team has record that is close to or under .500. LIVE ACTION will really need to show up big to make a deep playoff run. 5 Hat Trick Heros: Led by Howling star 82 and THE APEX VIPER, the Hat Trick Heros have built a team of what appears to be mostly friends. Spending 4 million on ie gecko in the infamous “Gecko Wars” against the clueless Shunts, Hat Trick proved they were in this season for fun, not for a cup. Despite this they can still take games off the best of teams. Hat trick is led statistically by a surprisingly improved ie Dyl with 32 Goals, 21 Assists, 46 Saves, and 90 Shots in 50 games played. Hat Trick’s main bidding star is iTz YAHTZEE CuZ, who is almost tied with dyl in stats. Hat Trick has kept the same team all season, and has not played a single TC during the season. Hat Trick has a respectable team, but will struggle against any team they face. Prediction: LIVE ACTION in 5. If LIVE ACTION plays their cards right they could sweep, however if they don’t they could easily go to game 6 or 7.
