Uhhhh, Canes, you didn't register for the tourney

I didn't get online 'til late last night, I saw you were on & I was gonna let you know that you needed to go register, but by the time I started a room, you had already signed out.

 

Is there a separate money list for the Eagle,birdie,bogey leaders? Or is it just the total money earnings? Just curious to know

 

Top 32 each tournament will earn a portion of the purse.

There are seperate eagle/birdie/bogie leaders on the scoreboard, but the "standings" are determined by our season long earnings (which will become more clear after Sunday when Tournament #1 is finished).

When do the invites go out each week???

 

Usually when I create the tounrey, which will most likely be either tomorrow or Thursday at the latest. But if anyone does not recieve the invite for whatever reason, please look for the tournament thread, as it will include everything needed to join up.

 

Destroyer or Jon....please remove me from the singles portion of the Tour...I.E. I signed up for next week, but I am backing out of this portion. Of course I'll still be part of the Team portion. This is the only tournament I have trouble with posting scores and getting INC's.


I appreciate the effort guys......you run a very nice deal here and the website and all the work is fantastic, but I don't have the time for this kinda crap. I wish the problems didn't exist, but alas they do.

I don't understand why XSN only picks on this tournament for me....I actually had to re-play round #1 in the J Nice and it, as well as the 2nd round posted. I only played LG's round #2 once....I did not attempt a re-play, but was given an INC anyhow.

DEES, you really should upgrade your firmware & give it another shot. I looked up the firmware update for the linksys router you listed, and one of the issues it addressed was for XBOX updating, as well as changing the timeouts for attempting to establish connection.

I could be wrong, but it seems to me that the LG tourney, by trying to have the rounds play in an orderly fashion, probably has more people playing & updating at around the same time compared to some of the other tourneys. That may be why you're experiencing problems only in this tourney.

Anyway, it seems to be a trend on the thread at the xbox forums, people with the most problems are all pretty much running linksys routers without updated firmware.

In fact, one version of the linksys router you have is listed as NOT compatible with xbox live.

Hopefully the powers that be at Microsoft can figure out why some people are having difficulty with XSN right now and it will be fixed by the time our second season of the singles league rolls around in 2 months (and you can jump back in then, or at the tail end of this season).

If you feel like giving it another whirl, just signup whenever. That's why the singles tour has weekly signups, there's no season long commitment, just play the ones you can.

 

DEES, the router version you just listed on the xbox forums (version 2) is listed as NOT being xbox compatible.

 

Yea I saw that, but i also replied over at xbox.com. I don't understand why this is the only trouble I've had since the patch, just this one tourney....and I know it's not everybody posting together...I play my rounds at like 11 in the morning when I get home from work.

 

Do we have to click on the "Sign-up" in the upper right corner of the the Scoreboard page every week, or just wait for the settings to be posted?

Too late to enter?

I signed up for this tournament on leaguegaming.com last week, got my invite and when I tried to enter the tournament today nothing happened? Did I do something wrong? Thanks... :cry:

Yes, you have to enter the XSN Sports version before it activates on Monday morning. Once the invites go out, you have until Sunday to sign up on the XSNsports.com website.

Sorry about that. When a tournament activates, you can't get in.

GC - yep. Exactly right.

Tournaments always activate at midnight pacific time on Monday (Sunday night basically). You have to get in the XSN tournament before it activates, or you get locked out. Sorry.

 

I noticed that more than 64 signed up for this week's tourney (at Greywolf). How did you handle that? Did you set up 2 XSN tourneys?

 

only 60 or so actually made it to XSN so there wan't a need for a 2nd tourney but yes there would be 2 tourneys if the signups actually exceed the 64 that is allowed by XSN.
