Central Gets Shit on
24-27 on east 44-50 on West (sometimes 70+)

 

use to get 12 ping east and 40 west. the last month it has been 30-35 east and 65-80 west. I can deal with 40 but 65+ is tough against good players on good ping. these are just facts, not crying like a little bitch.

i'm central as well. have never played under 25ping ever in LG. i feel like central does exist for a 'connection' but yeah, same as you, Jon

When you have a game where players can’t even control their own movements in most cases, it’s broken. The fact that we are held hostage by ping and server connection in 2018 is crazy. It doesn’t matter if you have 10 ping or 100 if that said connection is unstable because of the routed server on EA’s side. I’ve had 50 ping games play better than 16. NHL is it’s own title with absolutely no competition pushing them, Therefore creating a mediocre title with no incentive to change for the better. We get all this BS talk about “frostbite engine” and involvement in the ESPORTS scene, which makes me laugh, but do we all actually think they will change in 19. They may tweak the visuals, celebrations, arena/jersey customization, (HUT rewards) but they won’t touch the gameplay. No game is fun if you can’t FULLY control your own player. It’s pretty sad. This game could be so much better and have a much bigger audience if they truly cared about it. The fact that we have to hope before each game that we get a decent connection is fuckin horrible. It’s getting old. I won’t even get into the matchmaking issues and long waits in lobbies. Quit spending money on hut! You want someone to change, bite their fuckin wallet. Hut is their money maker.

 

12 on west and 36 on east.

 

I play on central and I’ve never been in a game with ping lower than 32+ vs. west or east.

 

Central here have always been at 31ish ping on east and 35ish for west

 

Central, usually between 38 and 50. Never played below 35.. Did hit 90 the other day though...

Connection on East: Meh (40-60)
Connection on West: Good (13-18)

 

I might be wrong here but have the server locations always been in the same spots for both east and west?

If so, then honestly all this is in your head because it's always been like this just people are using it as an excuse now because it's all mental. Just play the game and adjust. I'm like 25 on east and 50 on west and it's all the same to me because I don't care enough to complain about east or west or feeling fat.

Don't get me wrong I'm bad at the game but I don't use what side of the country I live on as an excuse for blowing cock.

west 37-40

 

8-12 west
40-45 east

 

Central here: 30 on East, 45 on west (2 straight years of this ping)

Last two weeks: 52 on East, 49 on west
