Yes, I know the first week is over. People are still requesting me to do the other divisions so fuck it. All my rankings are just my opinion, so week one results will not factor in. PSA: Doing these at 3am. Let's get into it. 1. Charlotte Checkers Despite a weird week one for them, the skill on this forward group is very nice. Getting @skyre5 on a beauty contract and signing him to a three-season deal will pay huge dividends for the Carolina organization top to bottom. This team should be able to compete with the best of the AHL as the season progresses and they pick themselves up. Could upgrade at third line left wing, but that's the least of their concerns and I am sure they are addressing that as we speak. 2. Providence Bruins @vCodester built a solid roster for the Bruins this past bidding. They got everyone they needed at a relatively good price and have solid depth throughout the lineup. Their defense can all move the puck well, so their transition game should be good. Love the move of bringing in @TikleMySackic in bidding, as his extensive player knowledge and skill will help greatly for the next two seasons for Code. A team not to be overlooked. 3. Bridgeport Sound Tigers Having an elite right wing in @xHedman- returning, even without Hayward, is a great starting chip for @GalchyTheBeast27 and co. @Sumawtf has proven to be a reliable and very solid AHL defenseman over the last few seasons and should be the backbone of the Tiger's defense. Their top 4 on defense are also all locked in on two-season deals. Definitely did their homework. Their goalie tandem is one of the best in the league and should be hard to be every night. Their offense could be improved on the bottom half but this is a good squad. Room for improvement, however. 4. Hartford Wolf Pack The boys! From @memphisonfire spreadsheets and my shitter player knowledge, I think we did an alright job in bidding and pre-season trades. Having an elite first-line center in @Cmutimmah10 as a free contract will be beneficial for the squad as we didn't need to pay up for one in bidding. All three forward lines look balanced and solid, capable of playing any style. We also got a good goalie tandem in @kudlacik1 and @Speedytdawg88 for one million apiece. One area we could definitely improve upon could be our defense as the crop in bidding was shallow. Maybe they should have gone for a bigger target. 5. Hershey Bears I have played Hershey a couple of times in club now and they have certainly played us tough and have some serious skill. @Maddens26 ends up back in the Washington organization and has put together quite the squad. The all-reliable @FITTY-41- tending the pipes and @xxSNIPESHOTxx21 leading the blueline, this team looks like a huge sleeper to me. Underrated. 6.Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins I really like their top six forwards, led by the Frontenac trio. @Reider15-15 running the second line is an excellent piece to have. Bottom three forwards could use an overhaul. Not a fan of the defense other than @xBBoeser. Prove me wrong. The goalie tandem is decent though! Hope @gatesse does not send me another rage message after a lucky goal this season. 7.Lehigh Valley Phantoms I like half of their forward corps, specifically @Intro9999 , @Feelted , and @Jason_23 . Goaltending will be strong. Don't understand the drive to go six million on Morn but hopefully, he lives up to the contract. 8. Springfield Thunderbirds To put it simply, the defense and most of the forwards underwhelm me a lot. The goaltending could steal a couple games here or there. I like @ZeRo_SyMPoThY , @TaZ-iT- and @PrestonB_89 up front. That's all folks!
