As much as it is absolutely no fun and the worst experience if you play a wing in between their forwards and defense you can break it up when they reset it 90x a game. Our team has had moderate success doing this.

 

Exactly, if they aren't gonna break the 0-5 trap.. why try to rush through it.

 

Just take turns slapping pucks at them at the blue line. Eventually you'll injure one of them, creating an opening.

Theres way too many people crying about this... Go watch the caps gaming final again. Those guys all trapped so hard and no one was complaining. When a system is just flat out better for 2 straight years, you cant cry when you dont do it and lose.

I honestly don’t find a problem with it, sure it’s a sweaty tactic but it’s a part of the game, I’ve found that if you play similar to their style against them, it will be just as effective and help you beat them

 

If you want to win, commit and don't argue with the system. You will wins 65-70% of the games.

If you want to have fun and don't care about the results... play somewhere else.

To some, winning is everything. As someone who's played for the system and against the system, there's a very a dedicated base of guys who are fucking awesome people. That's the key, it's not @darz44 and its not just @DEC3PTIVE 1, the Trap Alumni is a great group.
