I've been meaning to ask for awhile. Are the weekly player ratings based on just that week or based on the entire season. As I see guys at the top of the "weekly" who had a bad record for that week each week but are still having good seasons. @ClumsyTurtle13
It is cumulative. So each week has all of the stats up to that point. I would like to do just weekly stats because people have asked me to do that but unfortunately I can not separate the stats by week on the LG site.
I will look into it for next season as long as it doesnt cause me too much pain doing the sheets haha
@ClumsyTurtle13, Once again hats off on the ratings this season. I throughly enjoyed seeing who the top players were that produced in other ways the site doesn’t pick up. I personally can speak for seeing me ranked as the 16th overall Defensemen out of 180 at the NHL level. Now I feel this is accurate for my style of play. The website seems to reward only offensive D-Men & don’t take in account a lot of stats that you do. I enjoyed seeing the names that were up & down all season & hope you & @Tris10 can potentially get together & see if this can be implemented down the road for some of the stats that are recorded.
Thank you! Appreciate the support! That was my original goal to just give Dmen more support for being good defenders and not scorers. Would of never turned into what it is now without the community support and feedback.
@ClumsyTurtle13, In addition I feel this is also another good tool for owners in the upcoming season to use as a potentially form of scouting going into bidding. I know some owners just pick based of well known names but I think they could use this sheet for a accurate depiction of players that are free agents. I’m hoping you advertise this for upcoming bidding sessions.
