I'm thinking of starting a league if there is enough interest. It will also depend on what type of league support Sony has. I believe they have a site where you can view your leagues. The only rules I know at this time is that we will be using classic pitching and 1-2 games max per week. I'm not looking to create a full league, but a minimum of 12 teams. I want the league to be as realistic as possible. The meter is too easy to master. One thing I hate is seeing 4th and 5th starters pitching like if they're Johan Santana. Your managerial skills and pitcher ratings come into play using classic pitching. Which is realistic in my opinion. This is not a sign up thread. Please do not post what teams you want. I will create an official sign up thread a week after the release date (March 4th). I will be very selective as to who joins. I will not allow garbage to ruin this league. I want this league to be fun and competitive. 1. Striker3771 2. ExArmySgt 3. Shockazulu 4. TheDeuceMagnum 5. MrXpress 6. Kaabik? 7. Nosice? 8. CrackinBacks? 9. Deion Escobar 10. Kerrzy79 11. MileHighDrew 12. rcnjsn9 13. Jeffrey99 14. Papernut
I know with 07 you could play PS2 users with the PSP. With 08 can PSP and PS3 users play together? If so I might be interested.
I'm thinking I read that leagues won't support cross-platform play. I would guess that you could via exhibition but sounds like not in a league. We'll know for sure in just a few weeks.
I would probably be interested, even though I completely and utterly suck at baseball games (I suffer from 'swingateverythingitis')
I am most definitly, without a doubt purchasing a PS3 in the next couple months... and if The Show is at all decent, I'll be picking it up. So definitly count me as super interested... I give it a 95% chance I'm available for this league when it begins... Which I figure won't be for at least a few weeks after the early March release of the game?
What is Classic pitching? The only experience I have with The Show was 07 for PS2...never used classic. Not against it, just wondering, cuz anything that makes it more realistic I'm all for...SIM gameplay!! woooo!!!
Im in too. But only if we use a high difficulty setting without guess pitches, etc...and no batter square. Just my 2 cents. Thanks.
I've been using classic pitching on HOF. With a few slider adjustments. I would never play with guess pitch on.
