Movie: The Grey Zone Last night i stumbed onto this movie on my HD-movie channel, The movie sets place in Auschwitz Birkenau (Images 507-on) Be warned this is not a comedy, This is a highly dramactic film.
Do you know if you can rent the movie? Are those your pics from Auschwitz? I heard that if you walk into one of the chambers gas or crematories you can see scratches in the brick from people trying to escape, and I guess there is a human nail in one of the walls. We are studying the holocaust and reading Night by Elie Wiesel right now in senior english, so it would be good to see the movie.
eeehhhhh..... I am a fan of dark movies, but if it's gonna depress the hell out of me, i'll just watch Requiem for a Dream again....

You should be able to rent that movie in Blockbuster, it was released in 2001, and was American made so shouldn't have any problems finding it. As for the Gas chambers, you can't actually walk into any, they have all been destroyed, here's a pic of one i took as you can see, there's very little left of it, but it's enough to get an idea. It's cheapy, Right there hundreds of thousands of people died....
It's odd though, there is so much killing and death, but it's not emotional, it's done in an emotion-less matter... the same way the actual killers were done.
Well then it is a good portrayal of how the Nazis killed them, to them it was like knocking off a cow.
Has anyone found this at Block Buster. Went thier yesterday to get it, but only found LOTR: The Two Towers to watch.
