My career is ruined :-(

    My career is ruined

    I created a female player and had gotten her all the way to #1 having with all my stars and skills. I was in the middle of changing her sneakers when I get an error message telling me that I had to shut down my xbox. When I started the box back up, the career was GONE...banished into thin air !!!!!!!! Now I have to start all over :-( When I go into the HD explorer, the career is still listed..however when I go to continue career in the game, it does not show up. Now I have to create a whole new player. My female player was really good. She had won 2 grand slams and all but one of the major pro events :-(. Anyone else had this happen to them?

    Well my game froze three different times going into the final game of my grand slams grrrr:evil:


    I started to exit (quit) out after I won training & money so this wouldnt happen again. I have heard of peoples box locking up but not losing there entire character. That sucks :(

    Wow, that sucks. Time to back up my male and female characters onto a memory card (or my hard drive via Action Replay).

    yeah, this was totally unexpected. I had lockups before, but everything was fine after I restarted the box. I am in the process of starting my new famale character. She is already up to 56 in the world :).

    My friend had a problem, too. His character (also a female) kept having star changes (he even had 15 stars) or sometimes the person would change to technician. MS said it is a defective copy.

    Three times, I lost matches because I got a blue screen in the middle of it and it said to re-insert the disk. It figures that anything Microsoft has a blue screen of death... pfft

    I had another "almost" disaster last night....I went to the salon in South America to change my characters hairstyle. While the character was being saved, I got the "please turn off your xbox" error. Luckily, the character was still then when I restarted. Again, is was a female character. I'm starting to wonder if I have a defective disc. Will Microsoft exhange the game for me? I bought the game through EBgames.com..will they exchange it for me?

    Just tell EB that the disc doesnt work, i did it for a game, they just give you another in exchange....i think

    That exact thing happened to my very first character. I had him up to 14 stars and was working on legend status then my screen went blue and he was corrupted.

    called up EB and they told me that many people have been complaining with similar problems. They said I was more than welcomed to exchange it for another copy but it might not make a difference since it seems to be the actual game and not the disc. I'm not going to bother exchanging it.
